The Back Porch Restaurant

The absolute best food and service! I go to allot of nice restaurants but The Back Porch is my absolute favorite. Great location, incredible building, the most professional and attentive staff. Our waitress tonight, Alisha was by far the best waitress we’ve ever had! Thank you so much for the great experience, we will be sure to return.

Disappointed with our visit.
I ordered the scallops.
Cost was $29.00.
Was told that no sides accompany the meal.
Not soup, not salad. Nothing.
You have to pay extra for sides.
At these prices, I expected more.
Also, service was painfully slow.
Despite our arrival before the dinner crush.
Won’t be hurrying back to this place.

General Tso's Cauliflower....all I have to say is this is a MUST try! It was fantastic. Came highly recommended by two of the staff and it did not disappoint.
Staff is fabulous, atmosphere in the speakeasy is so quaint

Supposed to be open until 9:00. Restaurant only opens at 4:00 and was told they were closed at 7:30 one night after being ignored for 10 minutes with staff walking right past us. Girl asks us finally if we’ve been helped and then says they’re closed. Super awkward. This place used to be so much better. Cooks are the only thing preserving it.

We experienced a private dining meal with a group. The food was great. My husband loved the pork chop, whilst I loved the salmon.

Very nice place for special occasion dining. Food was excellent especially the ribs and chicken lombardi. Unique drink menu and good wine list. We had planned to dine outside but the mosquitos were bad that night. Our waitress, Shae, was terrific!

If you like a nice martini with your meal, don't order it here. You will get half of a martini glass for premium price. Talking with the manager, she will defend that this is okay. Out of all the restaurants i've ever been to I have never seen this and I believe it is a horrible business move.

Terrific food in a beautiful and unique setting. The weather was perfect so we dined on the patio. I loved the tomahawk pork chop while my family members enjoyed the baby back ribs, the plum rack of lamb, and the chicken Lombardy. All were cooked perfectly. And for dessert we had the chocolate cake and creme brulee, and we couldn't have been happier. This is a great place to come for a very nice meal without paying a fortune.

Used to be one of our favorite restaurants and it’s really gone downhill especially since Covid. They used to serve a wonderful bread pail with muffins and rolls and now for $10 you can order bread and assorted butters. I did ask if that’s all they have and he did bring out some rolls but they are now undercooked and not very tasty. The food was decent except for the garlic mashed which had no taste at all especially no garlic taste! Also, every meal used to be served with a starch and vegetables plus 3 Parisian carrots and now everything is a la carte. Our waiter (I did not catch his name) was not very good and was slow. He only had one other table as the place wasn’t that busy. After 10 minutes, he finally came and asked for our drink order and then we didn’t see him again for another 10-15 minutes before he took our order. Regretfully, I would not recommend the Back Porch anymore.

Always delicious food and great service. The gen tso cauliflower app was one of the best things I've ever eaten. Brussel sprouts were delicious. And the scallops were cooked perfectly. We shared the biscoff cookie cheesecake, and it did not disappoint.

We came here on our anniversary and it was an absolute delight. The staff were helpful, the food was outstanding, and when there had been an issue with their reservation system due to a wedding party pushing main room reservations outside, they called me to re-accommodate us to a different room rather than surprise us at the door.

They made a special day extra special. Will come back again.
