We're big fans of Valley Dairy, but this location might be our favorite now.

1) It's maintained beautifully. It's clean, literally everywhere: vents, booths, floor, bathroom. Cleanest restaurant I've seen in quite awhile...

2) The staff seem genuinely happy. And they're attentive, almost like it's a commercial.

3) The food is great. It's like Denny's or Bob Evans USED to be, ....about 30 years ago.

4) The manager (Jennifer) is incredibly nice, and runs a tight ship. On the first night we were there (we went back again 2 days later), she was waiting on 6+ tables, plus running the cash register, and we STILL didn't wait for our food or for refills.
It was impressive.

If you're anywhere in the Belle Vernon area around breakfast, lunch OR dinnertime, you're not gonna find a better meal than what you'll get here.

The service was extremely slow on a busy Sunday. It looked as if there was not enough help. It took a long time for the food to arrive and it arrived completely scattered. The taste was good overall.

I had the jumbo fish sandwich with fries, if it wasn't for the garlic and chives on the bun I would not have been able to eat the fish it was a little overcooked I could taste the burnt which overwhelmed the bun and the only thing that was adequate was the fries, the service was great although the hostess was not at the station and I noticed others standing at the door was the hostess was not there either some stood there long enough to leave the restaurant I'm not a critic but these things need to be addressed when we came before COVID hit it was really on the ball great you had momentum but after you've lost some of the drive the only way I can explain it.

I have no idea why some reviewers claim that the food here is good. it's not, at all. I tried the unlimited fish and couldn't hold down the bitter taste, a definite waste of money. I didn't vote 1 star because I've had worse

Waited 20 mins just for the server to still never even get our drink order...very rude short gray haired server....started cursing at us ...I had children with me....this location shouldn't even be allowed to call themselves a valley dairy! Very disappointed as other locations are always an amazing experience!

They have the best breakfast in our area! Consistent and delicious everytime! Best country fried steak, sausage gravy & the cinnamon french toast since my grandmothers. Even through door dash the breakfast is exceptional.

Food was hot and very tasty, the portions were ample. I had the fried fish dinner with onion rings and mac-n-cheese, and my partner had the Buffalo chicken wrap with fries. Our server was very nice and attentive. Prices are average for a family restaurant, and the atmosphere was clean and homey.

We ate here several times during our stay. Had breakfast and lunch. Food is good, hot and fresh. Loved their breakfasts the most. Prices were very reasonable and the portions were plenty. Service was good. Down home atmosphere.
