My wife and I stopped by for ice cream. We waited a long time under the hot sun in a confused line where the people acted scared to go up on the porch to order. I thought maybe it's because they have signs saying they will charge you $20 if you cut in line or are rude. Then I discovered it is because they don't have a place to order. Prices were great, but the food was even better. Chili dogs were perfectly cooked, with generous amounts of cheese and chili lathered on top. The variety of seasonings for the french fries was also a plus. I will definitely return!
Ye Old Dog House just may be my favorite ice cream shop that I've ever been to. The portions are simply outrageous; they're monstrous. And the prices cannot be beat. My all time favorite is the Harztler Shake, it's a milkshake with a column of soft serve down the middle.
