We always do takeout, and it is pretty decent! Still exploring the menu a bit. I will say, it is too florescently bright in the restaurant for us to want to dine in, but we do tend to lean towards more cozy restaurants, so more of a personal preference.

Don’t waste your money. My entire meal was watered down literally. The dipping sauces for my appetizers were watered down, runny and tasteless. The raita I ordered was watered down, watery and tasteless. The chicken curry I ordered was watered down, watery and tasteless! Totally disappointed and disgusted. The owner is obviously trying to stretch his food items to last longer. Why else would you water everything down. Never solicit this place again. ????????

Great Indian food. A lot of Indian food I have tried since moving to Pittsburgh has been overly sweet. This place is authentic and can make your food as spicy or not as you want!

I really want to like this place bc I love Indian food and want to order from here every week. I have tried it five times, there is all gravy and only 3 skinny pieces chicken-not worth price being charged. The vegetables are from frozen not fresh. Please fix and add more to meat portion.

Tried this place today and we thought the food was delicious. We had Paneer Tikka Masala, Goat Rogan Josh, Chicken Mango Curry and really good Garlic Butter Nan. We will definitely go back. Heard the Butter Chicken is also delicious. Atmosphere is basic, but that didn't matter. Large selection of food. We will be watching for when they start up their weekend buffet.

I got the garlic naan and vindaloo spice level 9. ordered off uber eats super excited for a delicious spicy aromatic dish with a garlicky bread to dip it in instead I got stale burnt naan and a bland chicken vindaloo. A shame to receive after seeing such good reviews I guess its hit or miss this was a big miss for me.

A good North Indian eatery. It has familiar flavors and aromas of Punjabi-Kashmiri cooking, though frankly NOTHING SPECIAL—— the MAIN DRAWBACK ??? is the lack of that characteristic tandoor flavor from their “Tandoori”.

The menu is rather large. There’s however notable vegetarian and lamb/goat specialties section on the menu. But, the Tandoori section is rather limited.

It’s BYOB, which was a chance to try a CA Lodi Chardonnay that turned out a great pairing?with the food.

??? The vegetarian appetizer platter was superb. The surprise was the very flavorful veggie samosa and the paneer pakora.

??? The Bhindi Masala is a familiar flavor. It’s a traditional sauté of fresh cut okra, tomatoes and lovely Indian spices.

??? ?? The “Tandoori” Lamb Boti Kabob was flavorful BUT DOES NOT HAVE that taste and aroma of a true tandoor-cooked meat… THIS IS MORE A LIKE A COMMON BROILED PREPARATION in a modern home oven.
—— it makes me wonder, DOES THIS PLACE EVEN HAVE A TANDOOR OVEN???

The food was decent but took forever to be prepared, there was only our group of 6 and then a couple in the entire restaurant. The quality/quantity was good overall.

Most disappointing Indian food I’ve ever had. Some of the dishes I’ve had versions of elsewhere for years were so unrecognizable I called the restaurant thinking they’d sent the wrong food. Just low quality altogether.

I order an appetizer, a special and papadam with chutney. The appetizer, chola bhatura, had really good flavor and mentioned a pickle and condiments. I received the pickle which was mainly liquid and nothing else. I’m usually a vegetarian entree picker but wanted to test out a meat dish and basic sauce. The main dish, butter chicken, had good flavor to the sauce but barely any chicken. The few pieces it had were a mix of tiny chicken breast and chewy pieces. I paid $16 for the special which consisted of the butter chicken, naan and a soda. They left the naan out of my bag so $16 for some sauce and a can of sprite was very disappointing. The papadam seemed like a mass produced item so it was fine. The chutney listed three kinds when I paid separately for it and no where did it ask which kind I wanted but only received mango. Again, it was fine but not worth getting again. I was really rooting for them with little offering of this type of food in my area but I doubt I’ll visit again.

My experience at Indian Curry King was not the restaurant I was looking for. The food was either too salty or had absolutely no salt at all, the service was not very nice or long and some arrogant tone from them.
