I’ve been coming here for years it’s one of my favorite spots. Especially for breakfast food. Great food and great service!

I recently hosted my book club here for lunch and all of us had a great time. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and was able to handle our large group (all with separate checks) with great efficiency. Everyone in the group was very happy and satisfied with their order, as this restaurant serves only handmade foods (everything is handmade from the coleslaw to the meatloaf, you can taste the effort it is made with). The prices are great. I highly recommend this restaurant! Thank you for hosting us!

Family owned, home cooked food. Joe, the owner & and cook, comes out to speak to customers directly. Amazing place, a must-go.

An ordinary, average and would have been an unmemorable lunch hadn’t it been for the reaction of the server when I attempted to pay the bill with a debit card. When I asked the server how someone dining with them for the first time would know about their cash only policy the response was that’s just how it is. There is no visible signage upon entering, no footnote on the menu nor a heads-up from the server.

Such a cute little place. Staff was super friendly and food was hot and fresh . Would definitely come back to try something else

This feels like one of the best kept secrets in Pittsburgh. The food and service are always excellent. We usually eat in, but tonight we ordered take-out because we had family visiting. We ordered ten individual meals that had various sides etc. The take out order was absolutely correct and packed very nicely for transport including each container wrapped in plastic wrap and complete with boxes to transport the meals. I can’t say enough good things about this local establishment. One other honorable mention: the prices are very reasonable and typically less than we would spend at a chain restaurant.

We went for a late lunch. I love meatloaf and theirs was the best I've had in a long time!! My husband had the hot roast beef and loved it also. We don't live close 😕 or we would be there often.

It was delicious but they only take cash

My partner and I just had a wonderful dinner there. Food is so yummy and satisfying. Service is spectacular and with a smile. Understandable how they have been around for so long! We need more places like this!

I have literally been going there since they opened in the 80s best breakfast! All lunch entrees are amazing! Staff is great!!!
