While I've only done take out twice first was chicken tikka wrap which hooked me at first bite, second visit were two entrees one with traditional chicken kabob and banjan (eggplant) as side choice and lamb kabob with nakhod (chickpea) as side. Both dishes were absolutely delicious. Proteins had deep flavor, nice spots of char still tender and juicy. Rice was Moist and delicious both the eggplant and chickpea sides were so good and brought so much flavor and the Flatbread was so very good both in flavor and especially in its textures of crisp chewy and soft. Everything was obviously prepared fresh to order and it shows in the various textures for which their contrasts together contributed as much to my enjoyment of the food as the taste Looking forward to our next visit already !

One of my go-to spots in the Bensalem area. Good food at a reasonable price. One platter keeps me full the rest of the day.

I’m new to the Bensalem area and found this venue by accident while driving by a few months back. Since then, I have become a loyal customer in feeding my family their delicious kabobs. I’m sure they have other delicious dishes but I’m hooked on their lamb kabobs in the platter version. It comes with a most unique side dish which I believe is called qabuli pulao which is delicious long grained rice likely cooked in mutton stock, topped with slivers of carrots and raisins, both adding a sweetness to a banging dish. Additionally, the platters come with a side dish option (garbanzo beans in a sauce or an eggplant option). Topping off a very generous portion of kabobs/pulao the platter comes with a side salad and a gift from heaven with afghani naan bread.I cannot recommend this venue more for feeding your family, colleagues or business associates. If you don’t like it, I’ll pay for it (irony utilized here).

Food was delicious. It tasted fresh and savory. Rice was amazing! Spicy chicken tikka wasn’t spicy but the flavors were cohesive. The eggplant side is definitely recommended. Next time I will try with the chickpeas. I definitely need to go back for the Chapli kabob! I wish I had pictures to show you guys! The service is perfect. The staff is super friendly and the owner is amazing.

This place is wonderful - very clean, helpful staff, and good food. Knocking down one star because we thought the meats (kabobs and lamb chops) were over cooked, but that could be a taste preference, and I'm sure if you asked the chef to cook it medium it would be fine. Everything was seasoned well, the naan was warm and soft, and the green lemony chutney was excellent.

The food was great! Ordered a spicy chicken kabob platter , chapli kabobs and some tenders with fries. It was delicious. The girl who worked up front was just wonderful super friendly not stingy at all about the white sauce or green chutney. Definitely going to go

Flame Kabob, located in Showcase Plaza, ranks among the numerous, new kabob/gyro restaurants that have been popping up in the area over the past couple of years. Flame Kabob distinguishes itself with a focus on Afghan food and with baked to order tandoori naan. The restaurant also offers the standard falafel/gyro sandwiches and "meat over rice" platters one expects from a halal takeout place. We arrived near closing time on Monday night and the restaurant appeared fairly busy with both dine in patrons and takeout orders. Our food was ready and neatly packaged within our quoted pickup time, and the guy at the cash register was polite and prompt. We ordered a chicken/lamb combo kabob meal, a spicy chicken tikka kabob wrap, a falafel sandwich, and an extra piece of tandoori naan. We enjoyed all of the food we sampled. My wife and I routinely crave Afghan style kabobs, and the well marinated skewers here had ample seasoning, an ideal char from the grill, and juicy cubes of protein. Kabab meals come with salad, Afghan rice, a side of eggplant or chickpea curry, and a piece of Afghan naan. We found the eggplant side strictly so-so, but the rice was flavorful and tender. The freshly baked naan made the meal with a crisp yet fluffy texture and wholesome, wheaty taste. My father's spicy chicken tikka wrap offered a mound of flavorful grilled chicken messily wrapped in that excellent naan. The flavors and portion of the wrap satisfied, though the eating experience was a complete mess. Ditto for my mom's falafel sandwich, which comprised six fist sized falafel fritters rolled in standard pita bread. While both the chicken tikka and falafel flavors hit the mark, I would advise a more careful wrap job on those sandwiches to make for a more enjoyable eating experience. Our meals benefited from the tasty homemade condiments on offer, including a creamy dill studded white sauce, a tangy-hot red sauce, and a fresh green chutney. Structural issues on the sandwiches aside, the meal we had here tasted wholesome and was generously portioned. We will gladly return here for more hearty, Afghan fare and the addictive fresh bread.
