First time at a Golden Corral. I have to say it was good. I didn't know what to expect but the process was simple. We came for lunch and we explained we had never been there so the woman up front said lunch was being served. She asked if we wanted to order steaks as lunch doesn't have AYCE steak so we did. Very affordable. We also ordered our drinks as well ahead of time as we were told we would get a server which was unexpected.

Cost was $50 for 2 adults even though my son was with me, he is 13, and that's an adult price but only a $1 or so more than kid pricing. This includes the 2 steaks (cooked medium) and 2 drinks (lemonade). We were sat immediately and waited for our server. We explained we were 1st timers and she gave us the rundown. Very helpful. She said she would be back with our drinks and get our steaks cooked to order. We went up the the buffet and checked out the offerings.

He was happy to find mac and cheese, French Fries, cheeseburgers and hotdogs while I was happy to find pork, chicken, steamed broccoli, meatloaf and mashed potatoes. I was skeptical about the broccoli but it was fresh and delicious the meatloaf was flavorful but I wish it was a little more dense to hold it's shape but good anyways. The mashed potatoes were well seasoned and very delicious. I was again surprised. The 2nd trip up we looked around more and saw everything that they had to offer. I wish I tried the chili but I grabbed some roasted chicken, zucchini and pot roast with veggies. Again everything was well seasoned.

The waitress came over with our steaks just as we sat down. I will say my son's steak was cooked perfectly medium. Mine on the other hand was definitely well done. It still was tender just overcooked for my preference. I did not complain or send back as that's just not my style. I tried the steak with the golden corral branded steak sauce and was happy thay the sauce was similar to A1 which is a plus in my book. The steak didn't need the sauce but it was a welcome addition. After this plate we were getting full so desert was on the menu. Both hand scooped and soft serve are available. The hand scooped you need to ask for assistance. My son really like it and the soft serve was good as well.

My overall thought are the steaks need to be cooked at the temperature ordered. Offer other pasta options. There was 1 baked ziti option that I saw and 2 rice options. Having other pasta options would be great especially since they had bourbon chicken which could have paired with a lo mein noodle instead of white rice. Having a mixed veggie option instead or in addition to the broccoli would be appreciated. I would also liked to have seen an option for serve your own fountain drinks. That was unusual in my opinion to have to have a server bring that when you self serve yourself everything else. Also the tipping is weird for the server. I paid first and ate after but on the receipt it shows tip amounts. I paid with a debit card however if I wanted to leave a tip it seemed like I would need to leave cash, which I did however it would be nice to have another option and I wasn't sure how to do that after eating.

We will be back to try breakfast on the weekends or dinner as we enjoyed the overall experience and value.

First time coming here, honestly hands down the best buffet I’ve been to.

They got everything, salad bar, taco station, hot dog station, steamed veggies, FRESH ham and turkey, just like what you’d eat on Thanksgiving, comfort/fried food, rice, and they got the best desert bar. I left room for dessert and big backed it!

The staff are really friendly and provide great service. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and only paid $19 after tax.

On top of that, the food is always made fresh and there’s high turnover in the food.

And btw, the sweet potatoes are a KILLER. The best sweet potatoes I’ve had.

Haven't been to Golden Corral in over 10 years but the good is still good for the price that you pay. We went on a weekday 3 hours before they close zero wait time

Lots of food. Not the highest quality but you find almost a little bit of everything. Good to make a quick stop and have food at the instant.

Definitely not worth the 20 dollars a person. 23 if you want a drink the corn bread tasted like rubber ...we did have a nice waitress tho

I really liked the beef pot roast, mashed potatoes, gravy, taco, fried chicken, hush puppies, fried shrimp, I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures for the review.

Gaby was pleasant and attentive. Another employee there Diane was also in our area and my daughter and I could not help notice what a hard worker she is too. Looks like they hire some really good customer centric people.

We stopped here with our family of nine on our way back home to Virginia, and this team didn't miss a beat! Usually, a group our size can be a challenge, but the service was seamless.
Our waitress, Anayte, was absolutely awesome—she kept everything moving perfectly. The manager, John, even stopped by to check on us and gave us a warm welcome to Pennsylvania. On top of the great hospitality, the food was fresh, hot, and constantly replenished. Truly impressive customer service. We’ll definitely be back!
