We had Sue for our server. She is EXCELLENT! We have had her several times before and always remembers that my husband is a gluten free diner. We had the arugula beet salad which is delicious and lightly dressed. My husband had the excellent sea bass and I had the delicious swordfish. The service by Sue was wonderful.
It is one of our favorite places to eat! The service is always wonderful and the food has always been delicious! If you ever want to share their delicious salad, they always plate it for two which we love! This time we had a familiar waiter, Scott, who always goes beyond! There is another waiter who also recognizes us and always says hello! Thanks so much! We will definitely be back!
Our food was horrible!! I ordered scallops with brussel sprouts and squash mash Scallops were so bad they left an after taste of baking soda and brussel sprouts the same I needed to send back our waiter Scott was very sympathetic and apologized!! My husband and frien has ordered 2 different types of staks that they could not eat Horrible but we were to embarrased to send them back so we asked for to go order Our other friend ordered chicken parm which she said was good!! we have been there over 5 times and is the first time that we have been dissapointed!! Our server was exceptional No manager came to our table but our waiter did offer me to reorder something else.
We always have a wonderful experience while dining at Parxgril and our waitress, was very friendly, experienced and prompt. Highly recommend Parxgrill for their excellent quality and very friendly service.
The entire staff goes out of their way to make your special occasion enjoyable throughout! I really appreciate our waiter Sue and the servers that assisted her. The vibe, the food, everything was awesome. Thanks again.
Pleasantly surprised with this 5 star dining experience. While the decor is nice but not overally fancy or formal, the menu and food was divine competing with top dining destinations. The oysters were fresh with all the standard accompaniments, the shrimp cocktail were high and flavorful, the ceasar salad was textbook, the scallops and brick roasted chicken were perfect. Oh and the risottos was the best I've ever had. It is the type celebrity chef's desire. Our server was attentive and the food came out quickly. Even our sidecars were classic. We will definitely be back to this hidden gem.
Nicki was our server and it was the best service I've ever received at a table of 4. She deserves a raise!
I had the pleasure of enjoying a wonderful dinner with a close friend at Parx Grill, and it exceeded all expectations. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was inviting, and the service truly stood out. Our waitress, Nancy, was an absolute delight—attentive, friendly, and made sure our glasses never went empty. If you're looking for an exceptional dining experience in an unexpected location, Parx Grill is a hidden gem worth discovering!
Good overall, no major complaints. Server Amanda did a great job. Drinks a little light on alcohol, food great.
We came here for dinner before a show at Parx. Very nice decor. Food was served in good portions, but not amazing quality. Service also good. Convenient if you want to have a nice sit down dinner at Parx

Sue is a wonderful server and always takes such amazing care of us. Food is great as well, wonderful and relaxing atmosphere
As always great food, friendly staff, service was tremendous as always provided by Scott, highly recommended
Our reservation was for 7 PM on a Wednesday, but the restaurant was pretty empty. The atmosphere was just okay. Our server wasn't very helpful in recommending our entrees. We ended up with the Salmon Oscar, which came on a plank with no sides like potatoes or rice. When we ordered, the waiter mentioned they'd added some extra à la carte options, but didn't mention them again. The Chardonnay by the glass was fresh, though. Overall, we think it's best to skip this restaurant until they give it a refresh and new management. Clearly, others are avoiding it too, which explains the empty space. It's a shame, since the restaurant is conveniently located near the Casino.
I have already posted a review for Parx. But feel the need to update.. as it has been some time since my last review., I had hoped Parx would change the way they treat the many people who are loyal patrons. Ahhh… that would be a resounding no.
They have not. If anything their treatment is not just poor now.. it’s abysmal. It’s like they have such little regard for their customers.. they don’t even have to try anymore. And it is not their workers that they also treat with such little regard. I am not taking about the bathroom attendants, floor attendants..food court employees etc.. they work hard .. because I have observed a definite disconnect with Parx and their employees. They have gotten the whole customer service speech with a smile. But you definitely can read between the lines.. Parx cares as little for their employees as the corporation does for their patrons… although I will say it baffles me how much Parx has dropped the ball on this employee .. there is a male food court employee that works the night shift at “ Foodies”. He seriously needs to cut his extremely crazy long hair, or be made to put a hairnet on it. The first time he served me food… I was so taken aback that he was serving food with hair like that uncovered ., “ wow.. you have so much hair”. He actually took it as a compliment and said “ thank you” .. . But then I followed up to make sure he was aware i was not ok with having someone serve me food who obviously had no training by Parx on proper food handling.. I said . “ no I meant you have so much hair.. you should have a hair met if you are working with food for customers” .. he looked at me confused. And just handed me order.. and acted like he didn’t understand when I explained I was not satisfied with my service. . Subsequently.. when I have gone back into Parx he has been working. He still has not covered his hair. This is the service you can expect from Parx now.
And I get it.. “ freedom of expression” .. but I do not agree with that when this guy is handing me food to eat..And please comment if you have ever been shocked when this person has taken your order.. and served you food. Because I know I am not the fist person that has been disgusted. Just the first person to say.. “‘hey Parx.. I am not ok that you could care less about the many people that spend so much money at your site. And you could not be bothered to make sure when we decide to eat here., there will not be hair in our food!!”
The food and service were very good or excellent. The bread was delicious and the seafood was cooked just right. There is a video in the background of an aquarium on a loop. Maybe spring for an actual aquarium?
