Very beautiful estate over looking the Delaware river, and the interior of the estate very nice and spacious, so if you want to plan your wedding or just want to see an beautiful estate then this is the place.

My husband and I got married 03/30/24 at Belle Voir Manor. I cannot praise this venue enough.During the planning process I was nervous about not having a wedding planner as this is the only time I’ve gotten married and didn’t know what was needed. The event managers are ON it and keep you on top of everything with a work list of things to do and vendors to get! They are very responsive to emails and always answer your questions. They were so willing to work with us and so flexible (even with so many last minute changes and additions).And don’t even get me started on the wedding! Colin our Event Manager and Dominic were INCREDIBLE. There was a slight chance of rain and just incase, they set up for a ceremony indoors as well. It started to rain RIGHT when the ceremony was about to start and they quickly brought everyone inside for us to have an indoor ceremony! They were so on top of the schedule and on top of taking care of us, we never had to put a single effort into anything all night. The food was incredible, the venue is beautiful and the staff is amazing. Pen Ryn is truly the most incredible venue.

I initially posted this review back in 2020 and Pen Ryn must’ve gotten it deleted, luckily I saved it and am posting again to warn people of this venue.The below are our personal opinions & the quotes are directly taken from emails from Pen Ryn Staff (including syntax errors).We disliked our experience with Pen Ryn. In May 2020, we asked about postponing our fall wedding and their plans for safely reopening. We were informed they were working in date order to reschedule and were repeatedly told if we wanted to reschedule, we’d lose all our deposits. Our parents asked to set up a call with them to discuss potential options and safety concerns. They were told “until we know what we can legally do, we are unable to answer many questions our hosts have as this time as government officials have not yet released updated pertaining specifically to our industry.” We were frustrated that they would not have a call to even hear our concerns. When we pressed for any safety plans they were personally working on, they said “Unfortunately, our response cannot/will not change at this time.“Once they finally allowed postponements, they offered the new venue at a 10% more charge. The new venue was a tent, they described “patio pavers” as flooring and “professional restroom trailer” and plastic windows. River’s Edge was a total of 1,600 square feet smaller than Belle Voir (our initial venue). We asked if it would still cost 10% more even with size decrease and the drop in elegance from a ballroom to patio floors and trailer bathrooms. We were told “We are not able to provide any discount as if River's Edge as we do not provide a discount for Pen Ryn Mansion being smaller.” We specifically chose Belle Voir over the Mansion because it was bigger.We also had concerns about accessibility. The River’s Edge description said “Handicap guests may be driven directly to the venue entrance”. We hired an accessible shuttle and asked if it could drive to the entrance and were told “The bus would be dropping guests off in our parking area for River's Edge. For any handicap guests who are using the hotel shuttle, they would be able to take a golf cart….” That put us in the awkward situation of explaining that our quadriplegic guests couldn’t take a golf cart. We understood the area was not big enough for a shuttle, but this made us concerned that Pen Ryn staff don’t understand the definition of accessible.When we signed our contract, we had an extra bar added for $350. They later sent an updated contract with menu selections and asked for approval. We noticed they added $175 for an extra bartender. When we asked, they said an extra bartender was needed for various reasons. We understood the reasons but it should have been added on the original contract. We were worried that extra charges were subtly being added after we had signed.We would not recommend Pen Ryn to anyone. Due to our negative experiences, we cancelled. Per their contract, we were not refunded any of our $16,000 in deposits.

All 5 stars are well deserved!We were nervous due to some negative reviews, but we can vouch that Pen Ryn has done a lot to improve! Additionally, if you have everything in writing and read your contact, there are no surprises.We got married in the Mansion- it was beautiful and perfect for the smaller crowd that we had. They are moving away from the linen style to keep things updated, which was a pleasant surprise!Samantha, our coordinator was lovely! We were officially assigned at least a month ahead of time, which was perfect for all the small questions that come up closer to the official date. This is something newer they are implementing. She was accommodating, knowledgable, quick to respond, and kept everything running smoothly. Our bridal attendant Sarah was very sweet and helpful through the night as well. We heard great things about the bartenders, and felt the staff did an awesome job!!The drinks and food at cocktail hour, dinner, and dessert were delicious and all our guests left full! We highly recommend this venue to those that are on the fence and are grateful for our experience with PRE!

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at the Pen Ryn Mansion and I have to commend the staff for the seamless transitions and thorough effort to keep guests happy throughout the night. I absolutely have to make a special shout out for Kelly and Taye. Kelly was our server for the night and she was the sweetest and most kind server ever. Very attentive and even when we had a ridiculous question about food she was composed and went through the approvals necessary. Truly a gem of Pen Ryn Estate. Taye is also someone I have to rave about. He was nowhere near assigned to our table but when I had a dumb question for him while I was on the dance floor or someone knocked my drink down (seriously, I’m so sorry about the glass!) he was on it and helped Kelly with our madness. Kelly and Taye made the wedding more special because of their care and attention. Thank you both from the bottom of my heart. Fabulous service and such kind hearts.

lWe had Sam as our day of coordinator for our wedding 11/22/23. We could not ask for a better assistant in planning our perfect day! The staff also were very attentive! Dominic was frequently present serving us whatever we were liking cocktails, desserts. We had the BEST time on our wedding day and through the planning process. Our day of coordinator and bridal attendant were outstanding. My parents (who can be a little hard to please) were raving about the service and how attentive and quick they were all night. The food was excellent. Our planning process was easy peasy. Honestly as far as prices go for weddings, they were very fair! If I were to do it all over again I would 1000% pick the same venue for sure.

We had such an amazing experience having our wedding at the PenRyn Estates! There are 3 venues on premise, and we choose to go with the Rivers Edge which is right in front of the Delaware River. This venue is definitely one of Bucks Counties hidden gem. Everything from the grand drive into the wedding halls to the food was spectacular! Every guest we had kept raving about not only the selection of food but the abundance of it. We would like to also call out 2 employees in particular who made the day even more special. Chris who was our coordinator and Dominic who was our main runner for the day. They both made sure we everything we needed was taken care of. They even went above and beyond to include little touches to make our day so much more special. I would highly recommend this wedding venue, Chris and Dom to anyone!

I had my wedding with Pen Ryn Estate- Rivers' Edge this past Sunday. It was honestly a perfect experience. The food, the service, the weather. It was a 10/10 experience. Our event manager Sam was the sweetest. She was very quick with responses and answered any questions that we had.The only thing that I was not a super huge fan of was only being able to do self guided tours. I completely understand that they are swamped, and they do an AMAZING job with juggling all of their clients, but as a visual person, it's helpful for me to do a tour with someone else to ask any additional questions on the spot. But overall, an amazing experience. We are still getting calls from our guests about how much they loved everything.
I got married at Pen Ryn in September - great experience! The venue is gorgeous, food is awesome (especially the cocktail hour - WOW!), staff is friendly and efficient, and wedding coordinators are practiced professionals. I really appreciated how they had standard materials ("wedding packet") to help me plan the day and get all my vendors booked in time, and they offered advice based on their (many) wedding experiences. The day itself flowed flawlessly - everyone I talked to complimented the food and the service. The pricing is also very reasonable compared to other venues - you do have to read over your contract really carefully and communicate the options that you want, because you can chose to add on whatever you want to your basic package, which of course can get costly, but I was super happy with their "standard" offers (cocktail hour with 3 stations, 3 entrees choice for dinner, 5 hour cocktail+reception, full dessert bar, etc). If you are looking for a beautiful venue (lots of land, water view, etc) where you can have a straight-forward, fun wedding, this is it. My main focus was that my guests had a good time, and Pen Ryn knows how to throw a party. I hope I get invited to another wedding or event here in the future!

My son and fiancé got married at Pen Ryn - Belle Voir Manor in early September 2023. The whole process of planning the wedding up to the wedding day was handled professionally and seamlessly. Besides the grounds and venue being beautiful, what stands out most to me are the people who work there. The service is top notch. Our coordinator Chris, took care of all the last minute guest changes without an issue. The day of the wedding he was everywhere at once. Taking very good care of the bride and groom as well as their family. Besides Chris we had a personal attendant, Haylee. She was great and took very good care of us. Everything we needed from drinks to placing my bag at our table before we needed to walk in. She took care of.All of our guest had a wonderful time and loved the venue.The day started with pictures at the venue. Then we had the ceremony. As the family left the ceremony we were ushered into a private room with champagne & wine. A private moment was very much appreciated after the emotions of the ceremony. After that we went into the happy hour & hors d'oeuvres. We had multiple tables set up with top notch hors d'oeuvres as well as butlered snacks. Everything was delicious. After the hour we were led into the main dining room which was beautifully set up. The meal that followed was wonderful as well as the desert table at the end. All of this wonderful service and beautiful location was surprisingly one of the less expensive places that we toured. You can't go wrong with Pen Ryn.

(Groom perspective) The River’s Edge venue is an incredible venue with a beautiful background of the Delaware River for the ceremony! The team did a great job managing and being attentive toward me and my bride, we felt very special. The food, flooring plan, price, and decor that is provided is one of the best deals we came across (very affordable!). I decided to deducted a star because a few small miscommunications the management team misplaced a few of our items, and did not remove chairs for our ceremony (a party of 80)(a lot of empty chairs). However, problems are always bound to arise on the wedding day and the staff and the team did a fantastic job of providing extra effort. Overall the staff was great, very welcoming, and met almost all of our demands. It was a great experience and a magical day! I would highly recommend this place to other couples looking to get married here.

We've recently just had our wedding at the Belle Voir Manor venue in Pen Ryn Estate. This turned out to be an excellent choice. In fact, a perfect wedding. The grounds and banquet room are absolutely stunning. There was plenty of space for beautiful photos and a large ceremony. The staff was very friendly and professional. They also provided delicious meals and a vast assortment of tasty hors d'oeuvres and desserts. We would highly recommend this location for a wedding location.
