Petrucci's Ice Cream & Water Ice

I wanted to taste and see what the difference was between Italian Ice and Water Ice. I have to say it's good but if you are borderline diabetic don't try water ice. They need a smaller serving size which is my only complaint. I had the sour apple, with vanilla ice cream and vanilla soft serve on the top, but I couldn't make it to the vanilla ice at the bottom of the cup. Very good prices and service was good.

The best ice cream in PA. live in Virginia and whenever I go to PA to visit my family I make sure I stop and get ice cream before heading back home.

Ice cream is very good and inexpensive compared to Rita's and DQ. Take out only so there's nowhere to sit in and eat

Honestly, as friendly as the workers were this was some of the lowest quality ice cream I’ve ever had at an ice cream dedicated spot. Tasted like what you and I have in the freezer. I got the “hand dipped” ice cream (which just means ice cream as opposed to soft serve). Vanilla was better than chocolate but it’s absolutely nothing special.

I really enjoyed the top part of my chocolate banana water ice, but once I reached halfway down the cup, the bottom half of my water ice was orange vanilla ice cream.

Wow! Such good water ice and ice cream. I haven’t tried the soft serve - only hand-dipped. Just Bada Bing Cherry for water ice but it is fantastic. It includes cherries which crushes the competition. They offer various sizes and you can take a container home for your freezer as well.

There aren't many ice cream places around anymore, so that's what led me to this place, by searching local ice cream places on Google. This place serves Richmond's ice cream, which I think is the best ice cream around. There's usually a line for this place (which is understandable being that there aren't many ice cream places around anymore) but the line always moves pretty quickly. Also, the staff here are always polite and friendly and the prices are pretty reasonable. If you're looking for some yummy ice cream, then check out Petrucci's.

Best hand dipped ice cream I’ve ever had! I always get the black sweet cherry in a waffle cone. Thankfully my people let me try theirs because I am just hooked on the hand dipped Black Sweet Cherry in a waffle cone. The seasonal fav is the pumpkin which taste like pumpkin pie heaven. I go here 1-3 times a week. Life is too short to go without Petrucci’s. The pic is from Friday, August 25th - National Banana Split Day. It took two of us but we didn’t leave anything behind. You won’t find better ice cream and you won’t find better people. Family owned and run, they make it even sweeter just being themselves. Do not miss this treasure!!
