Not sure who is dropping the ball here - restaurant owners who did not bother informing sites like OpenTable that they are closed, or this website that continues allowing people make the reservations to this permanently closed restaurant.

I enjoyed the appetizers and meal we got. We split one of the salads and burgers. The fries in the appetizer were absolutely delicious. The martini I got was also really yummy with the blue cheese olives. Pretty cool vibe!

The service was great! The food was average. They use too many cheats to make their dishes. For example, using frozen onion rings instead of making them from scratch. Everything can be better if they used fresh ingredients. Prices are reasonable and the location is very nice.

Great scenery. Outside dining right by a lake. The staff was great and the food was better.

Food was mediocre at best. The chicken sandwich was a fatty mess full of breading that just slides off. Food is either under seasoned or over seasoned. And since there is new ownership with a pending liquor license there is no alcohol to wash away the bad taste. First and last time visitors. Two stars instead of one because the server was nice, pleasant and attentive. Not enough to go back though.

The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The service was also excellent. Susan is an excellent server!‐------------UPDATEI used to love this place but it really went downhill. I ordered a well done burger without sauce. The outside of the burger was well done but the inside was pinkish -- and it had sauce! I was too hungry to send it back. I ate approximately 1/3. Very disappointing. My friend ordered coffee with cream. The server brought out the coffee with no cream. She could have told him that they didn't have cream! There's a 7-11 up the street where they could have bought a quart of cream. It lasts 2 weeks or more. And to charge $10 for a sliver of cake is absurd!

EDIT: Had a reservation here on 4/14/22 only to walk up and find out their liquor license has been suspended. BYOB but zero mention of this on the phone when I confirmed the reservation or on their website where they still advertise their drink menu. This is very misleading for people walking up thinking their getting a full service restaurant. As we sat in the car calling other local restaurants to make a new reservation we watched more than a few people come and go when finding out this information. Just be up front and honest in the phone and on the website instead of getting people to the door hoping they'll stay. The guy at the door actually said and I'm not kidding "you can go home and get your own booze" yo buddy I'm already here why would I leave and come back why wasn't I told this in the first place? Disappointed to say the least.Wow what an evening what a meal. Went on a whim Sunday evening to sit out back first time visiting and from start to finish it was a pleasant experience. The greeter when we walked in was incredibly friendly. Joking engaging he was awesome. We sat out back on the deck near the water and watched a few boats and jet skis go by not a lot of action but still nice. The food...very good. We had a harvest salad which was served warm and had just a touch of dressing. The veggies stole the show. Parsnips, potatoes the lettuce was perfect everything seasoned just right it was the perfect starter. Only complaint was that for $14 there should have been a little more served with the dish. Seemed more in the $9-$11 range for the portion considering it's salad. The cedar plank salmon again very good and the accompanying vegetables were cooked perfectly. Lastly we had the deconstructed chicken pot pie. Very tasty, good comfort food but the chicken was barely noticeable. I don't know if it was because it was the end of the day or the end of the batch but that was a disappointment for sure. The veggies again were perfect. Definitely going back for the outside deck or Tiki bar before the weather turns too cold.

Awesome service food was perfect. Great view. Bar was closed due to license wasn't updated. But I didn't go for the bar. I went to try new foods and I did. I did the bourbon salmon or something like that and oh my god amazing. Whoever the chef was. Did a great job and the spinach? Undescribable. Even better. The mash potatoes was good too tasted homemade.Features: Restrictions lifted.

We went tonight and had a fantastic meal. Everyone loved their choices. The staff also called ahead of time after I made a reservation to let me know they are BYOB until the change of ownership of the liquor license gets sorted.

They went out of business and made up a fantasy about being closed for sprinkler system repair. Their service and food and drinks were terrible. People only went there for the ambiance. Good riddance.

We arrived at the restaurant for our reservation and the place was closed!!! There was a note on the door about the sprinkler system. Nobody ever called to cancel our reservation. Very unprofessional

The establishment called us as we were leaving for our reservation to inform us that they did not have their liquor license. We were able to BYOB before we left. We were accommodated outside on the patio which was very nice however they were out of a few mainstay ingredients. My husband attempted to order the coconut shrimp and they did not have it And then the waitress informed us that they were out of steak, ribs, shrimp. The menu was more limited than we had hoped and the chef seems to love jalapeño peppers because it was in a majority of the dishes. Thankfully we enjoy spicy food. I would wait to go back until they have the bar up and operational.

First time at the Water's Edge. Was not disappointed. Currently a BYOB, so I am sure once their bars are opened it will be more energetic. Food was very good and the service was as well. Great patio dining overlooking the water. Will go back for sure.
