We got lunch and ice cream here. The burger, hot dog, and chili dog were great. Unfortunately the fries tasted like they’d been cooked in old oil and were a bit limp. The ice cream selection was good, they even have a vegan option (not vegan, but we have vegan friends so take note of these things). We were disappointed with the water ice—only cotton candy flavored and an odd texture.
My first time actually getting to stop there - usually my timing isn't right. It was OK. I had the small s'mores sundae on coffee ice cream. The coffee ice cream was old or their freezer has issues - not sure which. It had ice crystals through it. The serving size was good. I also got a pup cup for my dog. He loved it. Took my boys for our yearly Lake Jean trip today, finishing it off with ice cream! As always, the service was amazing and the ice cream was refreshing. Their portions are very, very reasonable! They have so many choices. And as my kids say "the cool, big, yellow chair!"
