Food and drinks: Food is overpriced. Scallops were rubbery, sandy and underseasoned. Salmon Florentino was thick and too salty (also tasted like farm raised) .

Went there with the family for Prime Rib. The Prime Rib could have been seasoned little more for my taste but overall good.

We’ve been coming here for years! We will continue to come! It might have been a rough start at the beginning for starting up but everything seems to be working towards the better! We were so thrilled to have 2 of our sons families order with their old gift cards and they were happy to fill them! One of them owed more money then the gift card and it was comped by the new owner! Thank you very much from our family! We have wonderful service when we go and a wonder friend and waitress, Rachel! Who is the bomb! Prayers that everyone can be patient and know that in everything, walking in someone else’s shoes and trying to fill them after years, trying find your own way… takes time! We love our Rickets Glen Hotel and the area of true friendships! Come on in and enjoy the food and fellowship! Very thankful for you to be in this neck of the woods to keep growing together!

Chicken Fran was terrible. 2 very small pieces of chicken, about 10 pasta noodles, raw, and I mean raw, carrots and beans (vegetable of the day). I will never go back there again!! This was, by far, my favorite restaurant, prior to the new owners. Good luck!

Not a good experience this time! First visit under the new owners unfortunately we will not be back. Chicken Marcella tastless just a few mushrooms, baked potato not cooked and not very warm as butter wouldnt melt. Muscles were ok but no bread served. chicken wings Hot sauce no flavor and very little. vodka penne with chicken was very very spicy and chicken was dry. menu did not mention spicy. Ribeye came out rare instead of medium but was good once they took it back to cook it more. Service was not great hardly saw her, took forever for the check and never checked in to see how the food was.

The new Ricketts Glen Restaurant is not like the old one. The menu has a lot less items. My husband ordered the chicken marsala. He received 2 small pieces with little sauce and few mushrooms. It was luke warm. Not much flavor. He had just a few french fries. I ordered eggplant parm. It was good but also luke warm. My string beans had a good taste but was not hot. We have gone there many years and brought many family and friends we drive over an hour to get there. As things stand the trip was not worth it. Hopefully they will improve. We wish them Good Luck.

Used to enjoy coming here when it was the previous owner, never had a bad meal. The new menu is so tiny, barely any options. I had a prime rib cooked medium and it didn’t even look like real beef. It was gray, cold and tasteless. Portions were small for the price you pay, best part was the beer.

Food was fair. Service was good. Pot roast was tasty, salmon was good and scallops were tasteless and overcooked.

Food was good but there was a loud older gentleman creeping on women at the bar. I like this place but won't go when creeper is there. Have seen him at the deer oak too.

Appears this place is going through some hiccups/ownership changes. Nothing but a phone number is listed on an outdated website. No matter which day or what time of day you call, no one answers (for the last few weeks). We drove past yesterday, once in the late morning and again in the late afternoon...not a single car in the parking lot and everything outside is under tarps. Seems as though people like this place. Renovations hopefully.
