The food is mediocre at best. Hostess was loud and abrasive. “Can I help you?!” was her greeting as we entered and approached the hostess station. Staff was generally loud and distracting. Kitchen was not accommodating. Atmosphere is sterile. Food is bland, hardly authentic Italian. No seasoning. I am an Italian American, only third-generation American. This food was not Italian.

Really good food, nice atmosphere, great waitress. We had zero things to complain about. Reasonable prices, and homemade food. I ordered the special, which was crab ravioli in brown butter sage sauce...they were amazing. Lots of lemon. Also split a salad with my partner (a small is pretty large) and got dessert. Would go back again, if I'm out that way. We were traveling to meet with family and friends.Kid-friendliness: Many kid-friendly options. You could probably also split a meal with your kiddo here if they aren't big eaters.

Now to be honest, they are my landlord so ... but even still this is one of the all around nicest and welcoming place I've been in awhile. Now the food????? Well how would you describe heaven on a plate. Yup that good. ? well worth the time. We don't get out as much as before the great shut down but when we do, this is the spot! Always try to call ahead and they will be happy to seat you.

Great food with a gathering of wonderful colleagues from work. It's a bit noisy, but able to deal with everyone talking. Would go back again..!

We had an absolutely fantastic night here! The waitress informed us that things may be slow because they had several large parties, but all our our food was both delicious and prompt. We had the fried mozzarella, seafood manicotti (with homemade crepes!!) and the homemade tiramisu. Will 100% be back!

Mixed thoughts, but more positive. After working in Berwick for years, finally heard of this place and it came highly recommended. Looked on yelp to see pictures of the menus that were 6 years old, so we assumed the prices were outdated. This place is BYOB, so that is a huge plus for our group. So, our group, 7 of us this time, made reservations on a Wednesday evening, early, and we brought our wine. One of our friends is a culinary instructor so its always fun to dine with him. Our initial thoughts upon entering were excited. Lovely look and decor and the way tables were arranged was great. Server brought our wine glasses and opened our wine and we enjoyed that while looking at the menu. Everyone's reaction to the menu was that of dis-belief! The prices being so, so reasonable. However, we came to learn why that is. It is due to the very "reasonable' portion sizes. Having dined in so many restaurants all over the world, I would say that if they doubled the size of their portions, the prices of the entrees would then be more in line with any other average restaurant. The group ordered a variety of things and we all shared our ratings with each other. First some ordered appetizers. Wedding soup which all enjoyed, felt the stock was homemade, but not served hot enough. One calamari, again, not hot enough, a bit on the soggy side and a super small portion for the $8. On entrees, one gal ordered a veal dish and said the veal was tough and chewy and the pasta sauce was nothing special, she gave the evening an overall rating of 7. This came from a woman who has been cooking Italian for over 5 decades. Another gal had the shrimp scampi, she LOVED it and gave a rating of 9, (this woman rarely cooks, lol) and she loves anything shrimp. Our chef and another gentleman had the fra diavlo. They both rated their dishes an 8, mostly critiquing the fact that meals aren't served hot enough and thats a big negative. Another gent had the seafood manicotti and rated it about a high 7, saying it was good, but could have been much better, not having a lot of seafood flavor and definetley not served hot enough. I had the eggplant rolotini and a side of the home made pasta. The rolotini was good, but once again, when they serve them in the ovenproof dishes, I expect the dish to come out searing hot and bubbling. The pasta was good but I should have asked for the sauce on the side because I don't care for pasta to be drowned in sauce. The sauce was good, didn't appear to be right out of a can. I make my own incredible sauce so its hard for me to be too ecstatic over others, but the sauce was good, a little sweet though. The pasta had a nice chew. I rated the evening a 7.5. Overall, the entire group agreed that food was overall very good. O the down side, service was super, super slow. We arrived at 5:30 but didn't get served till almost 1hour and 15 minutes later. And more important everyone had the same issue with their meals, definetley not served hot enough. They serve complimentary bread which was just plain Italian bread, nothing at all special. I would like to see that beefed up to some really kick-ass garlic knot or baguette type of bread. Although portion sizes reflect the prices, it was more than likely the size we all should be eating. Again, bringing your own wine gives you the freedom to bring what you love and not pay inflated prices for liquor in a restaurant. One more thing I noticed upon entering is that the state they charge a surcharge if you use a credit card. It is just my opinion, but I think that is the cost of doing business and should be absorbed by the business, not the customer. Knowing this, we all need to revert to having cash in our wallets and stop depending on credit cards. We will surely return, but next time, we will be more educated in what to order.
