Mel's is a great neighborhood dive bar (absolutely not a bad thing). Small bar with a bigger seating area in a second room. There was live music there when we arrived. The beer was cold and the service was good. It was what I expected for what it is. There was a good crowd there that was a mix of young and older. It is close to a friend's house that lives in Berwick, so this could definitely become a place for a quick get together when we pass through.
