Amazing bakery! We ordered several items for a baptism and were completely blown away by both the quality and flavor. The lemon raspberry cake was outstanding—the lemon tasted bright and authentic, not artificial or overpowering, and paired beautifully with the tart sweetness of raspberry. The chocolate cupcake might be one of the best I’ve ever had: rich, moist, and deeply chocolatey without being overly sweet. Everything we tried was carefully made and absolutely delicious. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again for future celebrations.

We ordered our wedding cake through Clay’s Bakery. We had discussed our ideas for the cake, and started the process with the Clay’s Bakery team about 2.5 months in advance. We were able to review design ideas with them over conference call, while sharing photos from our own research, and reviewing the examples from their own website. We were very happy with our beautiful, and delicious cake for our special day, and highly recommend working with Skylar, and the Clay’s Bakery team for your wedding or special events.

Haven't had a chance to try their baked goods yet but the service has made me vow to try them soon. Ordered a cake for my mom's birthday while Clay's was closed for vacation to pick up right after they returned. When my mom's travel plans changed because of a gravely ill relative, I reached out a few days before they reopened to ask about canceling or rescheduling. I was surprised to have a very sympathetic response hours later - on a Sunday afternoon - and a refund processed the next day. They went above and beyond my expectations, when they may have already planned for my upcoming order.

We’ve been avid customers of Clay’s since they opened 35 years ago. Denise is at once a talented artist and a master baker. We usually go for yellow cake with chocolate icing. Most recently we ordered mocha pound cake with vanilla cream frosting which was delicious and an all around hit. Our only complaint is the lack of leftovers!

I will never buy a cake from anybody else please is simply the best. The cakes are beautiful, but most importantly, they taste awesome I wish I found this bakery sooner. It’s an old school, traditional bakery that doesn’t let you down.

When ever we have a really special event Clays us our go to. Just held my daughter’s engagement shower. Tremendous cakes and unlimited options. If you can think it .. they can make it. Great to work with. Highly recommend.

Clays rescued us from a cake disaster! We had a last minute cake cancellation. So with only a couple of hours they put together the sweetest mermaid cake! In addition it was delicious!!!! (I don’t normally like store bought cakes)

Clay's has been my family's favorite bakery for over 20 years, so when it came time to get married, I knew I didn't want a cake from anywhere else. The staff was wonderful to work with, the decoration matched our vision precisely, and we got multiple raves from guests about the taste. Thank you, Clay's! We'll be back!

I feel like Clay was very rude when I picked up my cake. He raised his voice several times and repeatedly said he takes no responsibility for how the cake turned out and blamed me for a bad reference photo and “asking them for something they don’t do”. This confused me because I saw many other cakes in a similar style that were stunning. I have always wanted a cake from here drove a hour to get mine. When I picked mine up I was disappointed that the cake looked more uneven and the piping was messy compared to the other orders. I was there for nearly a hour before they even considered making a change. Then he said to fix it would make it look worse anyway and recommended I should just take it. I am very disappointed.

Clay’s made our wedding cake and exceeded all expectations!! We reached out only a month before, I had some vintage cake decorating pieces I wanted included like pillars and a cake topper.. and a few design ideas.. they rose to the challenge and truly went above and beyond to make such a stunning cake that was so beautiful and beyond my wedding cake dreams. They delivered it on time and set it up carefully. Not to mention it was delicious, and the leftovers were even yummy the next day after being refrigerated. Our wedding was in Devon, but Compared to bakeries in Philly, their price was good too. All around recommend Clay’s for your wedding or special event 100%!

We went to Clay's Bakery for our wedding cake, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience! They were incredibly accomodating with the tasting, and all their flavors were excellent. They had so many different designs for us to draw inspiration from, and they created exactly what we asked for. And from what we saw, they can do these sorts of amazing creations for any occasion!
