NECTAR Restaurant & Lounge

The food is well prepared and tasty. The service is excellent. We sat in bar area because main dining area is too noisy. All in all, I like Nectar very much.

Food was great. Service was seriously lacking. At this price point I don't expect to sit for 20+ minutes with dirty dishes and leftovers to be packed. Server walked by us several times and could hopefully see we were done. He did however have plenty of time to chat with a nearby table for an extended period. It was a birthday for a member of our party. No acknowledgment of that despite noting it on Open Table reservation.

Our lovely server Elisabeth made our experience at Nectar - always a favorite restaurant - very, very special. She was engaging, kind, helpful, and committed to making sure my gluten free needs were met. We had a show to get to, and she made sure we were on time. It was a wonderful experience and we can't wait to go back.

Nectar is one of our favorite restaurants in the Main Line. The food is always excellent. It is the best sushi in area, with other wonderful entrees. The service and attention to detail is top notch. The servers are always very attentive and it has lovely lively ambience. We highly recommend it!

We always enjoy the pork dumplings and sushi. It's the can't go wrong categories and we've been through most of the rolls and sushi choices. Always great. Drinks were not overly creative, but still good. It's always a nice place to dine with a beautiful interior. Entrees are consistently prepared but can occasionally lack the full flavored preparation you'd expect. Menu has become more diverse with farm to table representation.

Consistently delicious. Wait staff is always top notch. It's hard for us to choose elsewhere when we know we love it here!!

I've gone many, many times. This is the first time I was disappointed in my meal. Three of the four of us ordered the scallops and they were *off*. No one finished them nor did any of us take them home. Just not as delicious as they should have been. The seasoning? Over cooked? Even the risotto wasn't as creamy as it should have been. The burrata and tomato salad was outstanding. Of course, we will return but..will not order the scallops.

The service at the bar was great! The atmosphere is welcoming and energetic. The food is five star and prepared by chefs that take pride in quality and presentation.

10/10!!!! One of the best meals and drinks I've ever had! Five star service from the waitstaff and valet. We totally overstayed our welcome, thinking it closed at 10pm on a Wednesday (sorry!) but everyone was so sweet and didn't kick us out 😂 Can't wait to go back!

We went to Nectar for our anniversary. Everything was wonderful, food was delicious. Robert was our server and was very attentive and offered suggestions when asked..

When it opened some 20* years ago it was a unique place on the Main Line with its modern decor, valet parking and as I recall good food. Decor is still there, but the food is HUGELY overpriced. Sushi were unremarkable, my halibut had the smallest piece of fish that I ever remember anywhere. about 1/8 oz, for $42! Wine list is good and has some decent wines at reasonable prices. Waters delivered food and drinks efficiently, but no one came to ask us how our food was. There are better choices for sushi and cooked food in the area.

Everything from valet to service was amazing. The server was great at suggesting different t things off the menu.

Nectar is a special occasions dining destination for us. The quality of food and service is consistently above average. It's definitely a step above your standard asian cuisine. The seating can be a bit tight though. I'd like to have a little more room between the tables. Not much of anything negative to say with the exception that the space under the table had not been swept recently - which I pointed out to the server.
