Some of the best Mexican food I've ever had! We got the wet burrito and the enchiladas with red sauce (both vegetarian) and they were both delicious! Highly recommend.

From the outside it does not look like you want to eat there but when the food is on your insides, you'll appreciate it. Good food, interesting choices, like homemade Mexican.

My husband and I are foodies and are always looking for new places to try. We first tried Tio about a year and a half ago when we moved to Berwyn, and we’ve been hooked ever since. They have the best Mexican food in the area, hands down. We usually eat here several times a month, sometimes twice in one week. They have the best al pastor tacos I have ever had (and al pastor is my absolute favorite). When I order it anywhere else I end up wishing I had gotten Tio instead. And if you’re a pineapple fan like me, their piña fajita is filled with flavor. My husband especially loves their barbacoa and says it is truly the best he’s ever had. In short, we have loved every single thing we’ve tried here.We also love that they’re a small establishment with a very relaxed atmosphere and great service. We also order for pick up and the food is just as good to go, but we really do love dining in. If we ever move out of Berwyn we will travel any distance to return to Tio!!!Parking: I’ve seen a few reviewers discuss their dissatisfaction with parking. This is not specific to Tio, as parking is difficult for most places along this section of Lancaster Ave. They have more spots in the back of the building, as well as a train station with more parking just across the street. They may not have a huge parking lot, but please don’t let it dissuade you from eating here!! It is well worth it!!!

Food- 5/5Service- NAAtmosphere- 5/5Drinks- NAValue- 4/5This small Mexican restaurant is a hidden secret. I stopped by and ordered tacos of the pastor, carnitas, and steak to try them all. Also ordered the chips and guacamole. They were all really good. Loved how juicy and tender the carnitas were; the meat fell apart in my mouth and was seasoned perfectly. I could have eaten just a bowl of the pulled pork. The pastor is cooked with pineapple and onions and how a little sweetness that blended in with the spicy kick. Honestly I like the steak the least. Still had good flavor, but tended to be more dry. The chips and guacamole were simple but good. I could have used a little more flavor, maybe a little more lime, but really pretty good. And the chips had good bite.Overall, really happy to have found this place and will definitely be going back for more carnitas (pulled pork) tacos. By far my favorite.Parking: Limited number of spots out front of the restaurant that is shared with two other restaurants (possibly three), but appears to also have more free parking spaces/small lot in the back.

Just moved to Berwyn from Phoenix, AZ. Food is amazing and holds up compared to authentic places out west

Place was very clean and the workers were nice, but the food was not very good at all. Was severely over priced for very bland food. Definitely do not get the mole.

I ordered the ground beef burrito with green gravy on top. It comes with sour cream and pico de gallo. The gravy, sour cream, and the pico were non-existent. The amounts were so small that it took away from being a good burrito. I am going to give this restaurant one more try expressing my disappointment from last time, and see whether they improved.Vegetarian options: You can order most dishes omitting the meatParking: Little parking in the front. But, they have parking in the back.

Mushy burrito was large but bland. Mostly refried beans with a little bit of meat and lettuce. My guest ordered a platter but was not given a fork (take out) but fortunately his came with chips so he scooped his dinner. His did not look appetizing-sloppy presentation. To pick up, we went to the bar, which, as typical for bar pick-ups, had to wait for someone to help us and ring us up. I wish restaurants would have the hostess manage this piece since they are rarely busy in a constant manner, unlike a bartender. I wouldn't go back given the choice. There are a lot of great places in this area.Parking: We parked in a free lot down the street that was very crowded. We were dining early evening on a weekend.

The best birria in the suburbs that we've tried so far! Nice portions of flavorful meat with the signature melty cheese and the rich consommé for dipping...the quesabirria has to be our favorite dish here! The regular tacos are also good. The fish tacos have a nice kick to them with the sauce. The waitress was nice and the ambiance feels like a normal Mexican restaurant. We return here again and again just for the quesabirria!
