Not the atmosphere I expected, and the parking lot is difficult to pull out of... HOWEVER, I recommend the food and will go back. Service was quick, as well. Comparing the menu to other Mexican restaurants in the area, I also find it less expensive for better quality food.

Parking: The parking lot is on a grade to get back on the main road, which makes it difficult to pull out when it's busy.

I’m sorry but this place is gross and there’s no way the heat was on because it was freezing inside. If I could give it zero stars I would.Edit for reply to manager: I didn’t complain to the waitress because she was the only person working and was clearly trying and I didn’t want to upset them.There were so many issues from the food being bad to the soda sprite line needing to be changed. There were also no people in the restaurant besides our table.I usually don’t write negative reviews but I don’t know how this place has 4.5 stars. I’m guessing ownership was changed at some point and everything went downhill from there.

Great little Mexican restaurant! The food and service are always outstanding. Lots of menu options! The portions are good size and the prices are very reasonable. One of my favorite places around!

Great little place for Mexican food; prices and portions are good. The parking lot is real easy to miss as it's basically in an intersection. Also, the owner has been the only one working tables every time I visit, so service is a little slow. If you're in a big hurry, maybe go elsewhere. Otherwise, it's great.

Good Mexican food with a price for everybody. I enjoyed the Jumbo burrito w/beef. Was quite tasty and filling.

This is our absolute favorite Mexican restaurant. The food is always delicious. The new paint and lighting inside is depressing. It was better with the nice light yellow! This won't stop us from coming back but change it back!

I don’t understand how this place has a 4.5! These reviewers must have never eaten Mexican food before. The sauce on the burrito tasted like pizza sauce and the enchilada sauce tasted like burnt pizza sauce. The hot sauce provided looked like it was 5 years old. The waitress was very nice but we will not be back.

This place has always been my favorite restaurant and today was no different! They different made some updates and it looks beautiful on the inside and the waitress we had was the sweetest and did such an amazing job! We will definitely be back! ?

I love their chili Relleno... Soooo delish! My husband doesn't like Mexican food too much so he gets a steak and fries and he loves it! Just 2nd time there... First time had a combo with a relleno, taco and enchilada. Awesome!

What happened???My family and I have been customers of Casa Nayarit for the last few years, ever since they opened on South Park Rd. It was our favorite local Mexican restaurant. We even continued to order from there during the pandemic because we didn't want them to close!Now... its just not the same restaurant. What happened????Sometimes when you try to call it's constant busy for hours (and no, it's not bc they are super busy). It's like they took the phone off the hook. This has happened repeatedly to me over the past month.I finally got through the other day and ordered my favorite. Pollo con crema and "a" side of guac. The woman who answered (after 10 rings) immediately put me on hold by setting down the phone on the counter for several minutes. No, she wasn't helping a customer. Maybe writing something- it sounded like that anyways. I was patient though and waited. Placed my order, picked it up and whuuuuu? My pollo con crema was a single soupy mix of my chicken in cream sauce, rice, and beans. Even worse was the guac. Ummm, last I checked there were avacados in guac- right? What I got looked like them mixed a gallon of pico de gallo with maybe 1 avacodo. All onions and other veggies. Very very minimal avacado.SMH. I think I'm done ordering food here. RIP Casa Nayarit.

This is the 3rd time I've ordered here and each time the food was just not good. This final time our order was wrong after being read back to us, and I was not given beans, lettuce, guacamole or the sour cream that was supposed to come with it. And then the establishment argued with me instead of just offering to give me what I paid for.We will not return

Friendly staff, wonderful food, great prices and value!Love the Enchiladas Supreme, the chimichangas, the queso, everything. The refrained beans were super flavorful!

Best authentic Mexican food, can't beat the price either! Chili Rellenos are superb! The salsa was so good, you could use the chips as spoons to eat just the salsa! The service was excellent! Great place for families, date night or just hanging out! Highly recommend!

We went there tonight for the first time after their remodeling. The food wasn't as good, the place was too dark, the men's room has toilet and a urinal. The toilet didn't flush and my tennis shoes stuck to the men's room floor. The font on the "New" menu was too small and I was given and "old" menu. They didn't have what I wanted on the old menu. The waitress was very nice. I wish them success, but I won't be going back.
