Recommended dishes: Half Italian Hoagie

This place was by far better than Scoops, i cannot remember the last time i ate a really good hoagie, until i had a bite of chicken bacon hoagie that was far better than any other hoagie places. They do pizza right, other pizza would burn then crust, skimp on toppings, barely any cheese. This OG place had me get cheese pulls and i am coming back here again. I cant imagine their wings.

Danny’s hoagies is a classic! One of the best Italian hoagies I’ve ever had. Healthy portions of meat and great price for your money. Cheaper than any of the chain hoagie places and the ingredients are fresh and quality! They only have 5-6 tables so seating may not be available at times. My dad and I were lucky enough to snag the last one - but who doesn’t prefer to eat a hoagie in sweats anyway? Will go here again and again.

Best Italian within Pittsburgh limits. By far. Gotta get it toasted. Pizza is also very good

Just finished a hot sausage sandwich and a cut of Sicilian pizza. My wife had the grilled chicken salad. The hot sausage is perfect. The pizza was just plain cheese and tasty also. My wife said the grilled chicken salad was really good also. It was a really nice size for the price. I'll be trying their Italian calzone next!
