Normally, I’m very happy with Danny subs and I live very close so it’s convenient for me. I work from home and was on my way home from walking in the park and had to start work so I ordered a sub and a salad. I was very clear when I ordered it on the phone for the sub that I did not want mayo and the Italian Dressing should be on the side. I do this because it will get soggy by the time I get home, they put the Italian dressing on the sandwich. It was a hot mess when I called to complain about it. They said that was the way it was entered into the system. Said there was nothing they could do about it. I’ve been there numerous times and I just thought it was really poor customer service.

Don't know how they make a hoagie the same everytime ? Awesome!!! Great sandwich! Thank you

Danny's Hoagies WOW, Been eating there for over 50 years, still the best hoagie in the Burg'. Service is phenomenal, I go at least once per week. Wish they were open Monday and Tuesday, however, it's fairly standard for restaurants to be closed Monday and or Tuesday.

Everything from the bun to the inside is sheer perfection. They’ve been open for 65 years I’m 63 that’s how long I’ve been eating there. The few times I’ve had a surgery I always want a Danny’s hoagie the night before in case it’s my last meal facts. So happy they are carrying on the family tradition of the best hoagie anywhere. Ever.

This is very hard for me. As a huge fan of Danny’s this pains me to say. The sanitary conditions of one of the employees worries me and my family. I will not describe as I do not want to get anyone in trouble but they need to be more aware of health concerns of being clean.

I have been going to Danny’s since 1976, always the best in town must have new ownership, bought a famous hogie today and it was very disappointing that taste that I had become accustomed too was not there, onions were horrible and the over all flavor was week, sad! I would track someone down that had worked there an have them help rescue what once was the best hogie on Pittsburgh!

You won't get what u ordered

This was the first time I’ve had Danny’s Hoagies. I had always heard how good it was. I finally decided to try it out. I ordered a pizza and a couple hoagies. The pizza was extremely greasy and almost inedible. The hoagie I was eating was soggy and not very good. I’m left extremely disappointed
