Red Onion Hoagies & Pizza

Was treated horrible by the owner. I got the wrong food delivered to me & called. He said there was no way he sent me the wrong food as they repeat it back to make sure. He told me I had to return it (which he knew I took a bite out of it)& that he would remake what I ordered. I have never heard of returning food. Most just say keep it. Very poor customer service. Needless to say I did not get a new order because of how rude he was. I was at work & we put in a big order. We have never nor will we ever order from Red Onion again

Drove a great distance, got there at 2145... They advised they were closing in 15 minutes and would not be taking my order. So much for supporting small businesses.

Very friendly staff. They treat you like somebody they know, not a customer which I happen to like. Food is awesome. And generally very large portions

Kid-friendliness: Just a pickup counter. They do have a few things to entertain the younger people while you wait but there's nothing specific

Good hoagies. They have the best Buffalo Chicken Salad in Pittsburgh hands down.

We tried the Italian, philly, and steak hoagies. They were all good, but nothing that would blow your mind. The steak hoagies were better than most other places in the area, while the italian was underwhelming. The prices are a little on the high side but still reasonable.

still the best food I've had. the Italian hoagies are still the same from when I was a kid and the homemade hoagie dressing is the best ever. I'd buy a gallon of it it if it was in stores , and every hoagie I get I compare to these. bottom line well worth the wait to get when I'm in town

Bought 1/2 Meatball & 1/2 Italian hoagies. Both were burnt on top and meatball completely on the side and half side of meatballs. Sauce was skimpy. I called accepted a credit not a refund because this was our 1st time ordering and want to try again. The employee apologized and very nice.

I drove past the Red Onion and decided to try out their pepperoni pizza was excellent, reminiscent of my favorite pizza shop which unfortunately closed down outside Philly. The cheese and sauce were tasty, the crust perfect. it seems the next step will be to try the philly steak and burger.

1st time I had Red Onion was in the mid 90s in bethel park I had them right through college now that I had them again just like old times such good

We have been ordering from this place for at least 15 years. We live close do we always pick up rather than deal with delivery. Our food is always wonderful. We love the pizza, hoagies, and Red O fries (family favorite).
