Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I don’t understand how this place gets business. It’s so expensive like $5.23 for a small galati that’s crazy. ALL of the workers are unprofessional, dancing screaming and having conversations at the window while there’s long lines. The wait is awful especially when a worker has a window open talking to their friends when there’s a whole line of people waiting, like does anybody even work here? I couldn’t believe it when I was there. How is this place still running? Can someone answer me that? Just don’t bother going here it’s not worth anyone’s time and/or money for young irresponsible people to make you a treat in a filthy, disgusting ass environment. HORRIBLE PLACE!!

The staff were very rude. When we ordered our concrete, the worker said “ugh I don’t like making concretes.” She gave us a face of disgust. It was not made to the satisfaction that we have had in the past.

This is by far the absolute best ritas I've ever been too (and yes I've been to a lot) I drive out of my way to come here.

Recommended dishes: Italian Ice

This Rita's is the best Rita's in this area. It's also the only Rita's with Chocolate flavored Italian ice in this area. I have a Rita's 10min away from my house but I drive 30min just to get the Chocolate flavored ice here. Also the owner is such a nice person!

It didn’t hit me until this time how high the prices are for Rita’s.$5 for a small vanilla custard? Yikes! Don’t get me totally wrong here - yes, we’re paying for a brand name and yes, it’s surely high quality, so I do understand. Plus you have to account for labor, but at the same time, it’s still not all THAT great especially given the portion size. This was the last time I’ve been to Rita’s and probably will be for a while - not so much worth it anymore.If you’re going to pay that much for ice cream and enjoy a fun family experience while you’re at it, you may be better off looking into other more localized operations such as the wonderful Bruster’s and Tasty Kreme (consumers beware - they only take cash but the Rite Aid next door does have an ATM if that helps).

There are a few Rita's within a couple of miles of me, but this location, hands down, is the BEST! I got tired of the other 2 Rita's near me constantly being out of all of the 3 flavors I love. So even though this Rita's is farthest from me, I'm going there no matter what.And the young woman who took care of my large order was the most pleasant, smiling, and friendliest person EVER! She was professional but exceptionally helpful with me. I called ahead to make sure they had at least 1 of my favorites,,, they had ALL 3!! I'm not frequenting another Rita's ever.. they have my business from now on.

Very good custard! The South Park store is only serving junior cones and large cones, no regular sizes. Bummer! That's a disappointment!
