Trolley Stop Inn Reviews
This was our first time here and the breakfast/lunch bar was open. it was phenominal. great quality of food, tons of choices in buffet style containers to keep it hot. Everything from made to order omlettes, waffles, sausage, salad, pot roast, mashed potatoes, tender breakfast potatoes. my husband said it was the best omlette he has ever had. he had the Irish Omlette. Great staff. This was a huge win. very comfortable seating. The chef was also amazing
I've eaten all over Allegheny, Washington, and Westmoreland county and this is truly one of the best places you can eat at. The first time I tried it, I was recommended the meatballs made in house. Trolley Stop Inn is a charming restaurant that serves delicious meals. The chicken sandwich and french fries are a highlight, paired with fresh water and lemon. The Ruben sandwich is also highly praised, featuring crispy onion rings and tender corned beef. The wedding soup has gained popularity, being described as "soooo good." The Pasta Diablo is another favorite, known for its good kick and ability to satisfy a hungry appetite. Diners also enjoy the fish sandwich, which is noted as a delight. For dessert, the cheesecake with cherry sauce and whipped cream is a treat. The restaurant has wheelchair accessibility and friendly staff, making it a welcoming place. Although the place can get loud with sports and conversations, it has a cozy atmosphere. The food is hot and plentiful, often leading to takeout for those who can't finish. The prices are reasonable, making it a great option for days when cooking is not desired. The parking lot, however, is tight in front and back. Recent reviews mention that the food is generally good, with attentive service, and that the new banquet venue offers a varied menu perfect for large gatherings. Guests have enjoyed meals like the grilled chicken salad, which features a large portion of fresh vegetables, fries, and cheese, along with a choice of dressing. The staff are praised for their helpfulness and professionalism during events and regular visits alike.
