Literally the worst food I've had in years. I paid $54 and change for 2 cheese steak culupas, pearmasean fries and chicken fingers. Everything tasted like plastic, well the kids ate the fingers so i have no comments on those. I'm my experience as a chef, I would say the ingredients are cheap. Angry anvil charges a 5 star price for a .5 star meal. Beer might be good, not sure, I won't ever eat there again.

Love this place…Tuna tacos…… amazing!!!! Loved the added crunch on top and the sauce was perfect….Whether it’s burgers, tacos, fries or a good drink…. You’ll get it!

Visited here several times. Food is great! Typical pub grub. Great beer selection (owner is now owner of Oakbrook brewing) so even more beer selection. Great location and wait staff is always very nice and helpful. It would be cool if the interior atmosphere could embrace the cool name’ “angry anvil” and maybe incorporate old theming and blacksmith elements. Overall great place we will regularly return.

Fabulous wings. Outstanding fish and chips. And the jalapeño heater definitely delivered the heat. Friendly staff. Our new favorite place!

One of my top favorite places to go. Started going when they opened and have been consistently satisfied every time. The staff are some of the best I have experienced.

My husband and I LOVE this place. When I was nursing, the vegan burger they have is pretty slammin' and the Clucker is our go to. But we just love the simple yet adventurous food they have to offer. They always have killer specials and they are the only ones who do pickle chips right! Extra crispy with that corn ranch dip!Super yum.

Stopped here while camping at French Creek. Mrs got the bourbon berry drink. It was smooth and refreshing. Got sweet chili wings. They were nice and crispy and the sauce was on point. I got the Horsey burger. Enough of a hint of horseradish to not take away from the fantastic home made smash burger. Mrs got the cheese steak chalupa which was basically a Philly cheese steak hoagie on a flat bread. She got the sauce in the stuff which was quite spicey but delicious. Hers was great and mine was even better. And the fries! Crispy and seasoned well. Got Toasted marshmallow ice cream to go and Mrs got salted caramel. We are just too stuffed to eat it here, but it looks totally homemade. Not one bad thing I can say about the place. Staff was cheery and will be returning for sure when in the area.

Obsessed with the bacon cheeseburger. Obsessed. All the food is delicious and I love that the menu slightly changes from time-to-time. It's always fun to try one of the new appetizers and I have never been disappointed. Definitely the place to stop after a long hike at French Creek.

It's been before the pandemic when we last ate here. We got in for supper at 4:30 when they opened because we figured they'd be busy later - and they WERE when we left at 5:30. This place is a pub with bar food basically. Any place with more than 4 TV's is not fine dining - but the food is very good. My husband had fish & chips and they had the malt vinegar he loves, and I had a chicken parm sandwich loaded with gooey cheese. Instead of fries as our sides, we had an appetizer of garlic fries that smelled heavenly and tasted better. Their fries are battered and seasoned before the are fried and they are really good. Meals are in a plastic basket with a paper liner, so this is just casual eating. Beer selection is good, says my husband; and I had a wacky cocktail which was fun. The owner comes around to your table while you're eating to make sure everything is satisfactory. And it was. Now that masking mandates are easing up, we'll be back more often.

Small menu, great service and awesome food. Tried Carrot curry soup on a whim and was blow away with how good it was. Don't go there is you want bland food, everything we have tried to date was FULL of flavor. Highly recommend this place.!!!
