Dont ever go to the park if theres rain in the forecast. They will shut everything down in a hurry just to get you out, except of course they let the food areas open for you to spend more money! We bought a cabana that was rudely swung open by a security guard while it was raining, telling us to get our things and leave. It was not thundering or lightning. The rain stopped within 10 minutes, so we could of waited it out in the cabana we purchased for the day. The staff there are in a hurry to end their work day due to them being a bunch of kids. If you want to shut the park down and make people leave over a little rain, give them refunds, especially for the cabana!
Love this park. My daughter and I have season passes and go all the time. She is 2 and has so much fun. I appreciate that this park has free admission so Grandparents can stop down and watch the kid’s have so much fun. We buy a few tickets so the grandparents can ride the train and it’s great. The food is excellent and great prices. Sometimes we go just so I don’t have to cook. Enjoyable time all around. Such a clean place as well. Cannot say enough about this park for providing a family friendly place to go all Summer long.
My son and I travel 1.5 hours to visit delgrosso’s each year throughout the summer, as we live in a rural area with no public pools or summer entertainment for families. We purchase season passes, but the last few years have been extremely disappointing due to the park and/or various rides being closed without accurate information on closures being posted or updated. Since the park is run by kids, the operation of this “family friendly” resort is an absolute joke. They seem to have staffing issues resulting in a poor customer experience and clearly no effect at all on the profit this place makes from a population of people already struggling in this economy as it is. There is not much consideration at all for paying customers. Today, the temps outdoors have reached the upper 80’s, kids are on summer vacation, and it would have been a perfect opportunity to utilize our season passes. However, when I called Delgrosso’s to verify the information on the website which surprisingly did have an announcement saying some operations in the water park would be closed, I was connected to an unenthusiastic kid (shocking, I know) who couldn’t offer any information on when those attractions would be operating again. I was told it may or may not be open tomorrow, and just to keep checking the website. This will be our last year purchasing season passes.
Wonderful family friendly amusement park for children and adults alike. People are always nice and joyful.
Was a very weird and inappropriate worker, will not be coming back
We won tickets to go here at a basket raffle, and appreciate that the park donates regularly to fundraisers for schools such as this. We visited on Saturday with our 5-year-old son, and had a blast! The majority of the water park was perfect for him, and he enjoyed all of the rides on the regular side of the park that he tried as well. The food options were priced fairly for an amusement park, as were the games. I also like that the gift shop had pasta sauces that I've never seen before in the grocery store, and brought a variety home with me 🙂 We definitely plan on visiting again!
Been going there since 1968 on every 4th of July. Great rides, great food, and great Family. Have made many memories there!!
I cannot give enough thumbs up for this place. We get their dinners to go and they are SO DELICIOUS! I called today about a small issue and it was immediately resolved. They are the kindest people that they have working there. Thank you so much for making me so proud to be a member of this community. ❤️❤️❤️
