The food was SO bad here. I have driven by this diner so many times and finally decided to stop in. I was shocked at how bad, how poor quality, the food is. My friend and I tried several things because diners are nostalgic and often serve up delicious comfort food. Not this place. Several guests were there but they sounded to be local so this restaurant probably keeps going due to local loyalty NOT due to good ol' diner food. The waitress was very pleasant.

70 years later, I was 10 years old the last visit, I revisited DEAN'S DINER. I swear I had the same waitress this time. Nothing changed. It's not a replica, it's the same diner. You gotta visit it to feel the 1950's.

This little diner is groovy. I love the retro look and decor. We got cheeseburgers and fries. It was very good, was temped to get another. Small portions, but enough to fill us. Prices were all under ten. Friendly good service. Lots of pie options too.

Went there Sunday. Ordered a simple breakfast at the counter. Asked for crispy bacon ... After 1 hour breakfast came slightly warmer than room temperature. Soggy bacon . Disappointed, would not go back. I will say the waitress was kind and apologized for that she was definitely compensated. But the kitchen sure could use more help.

Having worked in a similar diner years ago, I was eager to make the two hour drive to Dean's Diner, hoping it would be worth it. IT WAS!!! Spacious parking area, clean exterior and interior, super friendly staff. The food was delicious and all three of us were satisfied with the taste, quality, and portions. My better-half and I each had the daily special (Swiss Steak that day) and our daughter had liver and onions. I don't recall the name of our server, but she was awesome. By the time we left, we also bought pie to bring home with us (it was fabulous - had chocolate peanut butter and also peanut butter cream), and even bought two of their t-shirts - that's how impressed I was with our experience! So happy we went, and we are planning on more than one return visit this year (2025).

Stopped in after work was 9pm took 40 minutes for the food dinner was just what you think it would be service the worst waitress never checked back my drink was empty when food was delivered never ask if I wanted more had to ask for the potatoes that were included in my meal no jelly was given very nostalgic diner fell
