If you’re going to call yourself a bar and grill, you should probably have some food.
I was traveling and found the place on Google Maps. I stopped in around 1:45 on a Tuesday afternoon for lunch and a beer. The place is dark as hell and seems like a hangout for professional drunks. A man got off his barstool and asked me what I wanted, so I asked if they were serving food. He said no, so I searched for a new place to go.

McGinley’s is an amazing Irish dive bar with a great owner Mike! The wings are crispy and the miller lite draft is ice cold! The items on the wall and behind the bar as so interesting you could stare for hours, lots of stories I the walls of this picture ! my favorite bar in the Poconos !!

They make you feel RIGHT at home love the wings. If you sit at the bar by yourself you can't help not being pulled into the convention.

We visited this place almost a year ago during the cigar fest. What. A. Blast. Mike was a pleasure to meet, gave us some great history of the area, and introduced us to some great regulars. We are looking forward to reconnecting this coming May!!
