My son and I had a lovely time at Murphys. The food was pretty OK. The server was lovely but kind of slow. The atmosphere was adorable!

We stopped in while returning from a hike. Server was polite and friendly. Food was good to Ok. We ordered onion soup - cheese needed to be crisper, a meatball parm sub - which was ok but the sauce was too chunky, and a burger - which was good. Had a few beers which were cold and they had a good variety. I'm going to try it again when I'm in the area and try some other menu options. This is a log cabin restaurant with history as a hunting lodge. I liked the history of the place.

Good tasting food but I burped it up all night. The burps were really gross and my tummy was queasy a little bit. Both my friend and I are not going back. Three stars for taste and good service. If not for both of those it would be a one star

While my food was good consisting of French onion soup and fried shrimp, the inside smells like old beer and old smoke. It wasn't particularly clean but we sat on the semi outdoor porch which was much nicer than what I could see of the inside.

Our bartender was not only friendly but made sure we were pleased with our food and drinks. Gave great recommendations on Rueben sandwich, meatloaf and steak sandwiches. Excellent food!

My fiance and I had Cheese burgers and fries, they were good. The waitress was on her game. Atmosphere was nice. I really wanted the chicken Marsala but the waitress said they don't serve that till 4:00pm and it was 3:00pm. Then later at the next table another waitress said the whole menu can be ordered for lunch or dinner The seating is extremely uncomfortable. And it was cold in there. When you go out to dinner you want to be comfortable. We would have stayed longer if it was warmer and the chairs weren't hard as a rock. I get the rustic theme but still can make it more comfortable. I would suggest some pads for the chairs.

We have been going to Murphy's for 3 years and the food always had us coming back but, this year the food was not the same?. I do not know if they changed the cooker or what happened. We are hoping it was just this time. We will try again just to give the benefit of the doubt, for we were in love with their French onion soup?

After a long day sking my family was looking for something to eat. This restaurant was amazing. The food was cooked perfectly, waitress was kind and attentive. This was the icing on the cake to a great day in the Poconos!

Arrived at 10:48 am, told no wait. We were seated and then ignored for 15 min. Finally the hostess took our order, then we waited 35 min and still no food. This is the first restaurant I ever walked out of. As we were leaving, the waitress had the balls to ask if we wanted our food wrapped ... The food we never got. Apparently it was waiting for us at the kitchen. We should have just stayed for the hour wait at Piggy's. They never disappoint.
