I played on July 4th during the holiday with some friends.
As a beginner, the course was quite challenging for me, but I still had a lot of fun.

I lost a lot of balls, which hurt my confidence a bit, but I think I’ll do better next time.

One thing I found a bit disappointing was that there were no signs at intersections, which made it a bit hard to find the right direction on the course.

Split Rock is a beautiful and challenging course and was in fantastic shape. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. We'll be returning in the near future. It's definitely in our Poconos rotation! 👍⛳

My golf buddies and I played here today. The course is in very nice shape considering all the rain lately. The greens are still a bit slow. The course is challenging but very playable. Beautiful views, friendly staff and good food! It's worth the hour + drive for us to play there!

A very huge thank you to Jordyn! The meal was fantastic! The fish, the scallops, the drinks, and the very tasty ice cream Sunday were all perfect. Shoutout to the chef. We’re regulars here and couldn’t be happier with the clubhouse. Many thanks!! 😎

The course has been in better shape, then what we have played on today. 6/5/25

Came here for my bachelor party last week and the course itself was absolutely incredible. The views were stunning, the greens rolled true, and teeing off into the valley on the 10th hole was a highlight.

Where the 2-star rating comes in is the treatment we received from the younger staff. The starter was excellent, he made sure our group of 13 teed off smoothly and on time. However, we were repeatedly approached by younger staff accusing us of slow play, which felt excessive and misplaced.

We originally wanted to play a team scramble (two teams playing against each other), but we were told that format would affect pace of play, which we completely understood. So we adjusted and played in regular groups of 3/4, still in scramble format, to keep things moving.

Despite that, multiple younger staff members continued to question us, asking if we were skipping holes or paired with other groups, disrupting our round and giving the impression we were doing something wrong. We were also repeatedly checked about bringing outside alcohol onto the course, even though we had already addressed that with staff at the start of the round. It felt unprofessional and distracted from an experience we had spent a lot of time and effort planning.

We also heard from a group behind us—who was trying to play through—that their tee time had been moved up by 15 minutes, which added to the confusion and contributed to the overall sense of disorganization.

Eventually, an adult staff member approached us on the 13th hole and apologized, explaining that a separate bachelor party (a group of 20) was actually causing the course-wide slowdown. He mentioned that the group had been removed from the course, which helped clarify the situation, but by that point, the damage to our experience had already been done.

The course itself is truly exceptional—beautifully maintained, with incredible views and a layout that’s both fun and challenging. It’s absolutely worth playing. That said, for a course of this caliber, I’d strongly recommend having more experienced staff handle pace-of-play or etiquette issues. Between the confusion with adjusted tee times and younger staff making repeated, misplaced accusations, the experience felt more stressful than it should have. With better communication and oversight, this easily could have been a five-star day.

Course was in great shape especially considering the recent weather

Course was in rough shape because of rain, greens have not been mowed or rolled in a while. Will give it another shot in the future may have gotten it on an off day. Also check out Pocono manor was great as well as Jack Frost

We went there for my mother in law’s birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. The staff was so friendly, attentive and anticipated all of our needs. They even surprised us with a slice of chocolate cake and sang happy birthday! Exceptional service 👏👏👏👏 the food was delicious too! Look forward to making more memories in future celebrations here.

Beautiful place to have an outing at

Golf course was great. Everyone was friendly. We played all 27 holes but I would suggest not playing the separate 9. It's beat up and not as nice as original 18.
We also ate at the restaurant and the food was very good. Boneless chicken bites for the win! Everyone ate every drop of their food. Very good time. Great atmosphere. Will return for sure.

THE PLACE TO BE up in Lake Harmony. Not only do the courses play great year round (yes I’m looking at you too, Nov/Dec bach parties) but the staff is excellent, they have amazing merch that is custom designed, and it’s typically within ~10 min of any Lake Harmony rental. Beautiful tough course. We played from senior tees and it was manageable. Stayed right there at Lake Harmony motel and enjoyed excellent dinner on the lakeside restaurant. Great experience!
