This place has the best food in town by far, if you know you know.Parking: The parking situation is the only real bad thing about the place and even the staff will say the same thing.

Well first.. u gotta pay to park out on the street n then once u get inside it continues. Bathrooms r like walk in freezers. Taco salad on menu with no taco shell n it's not taco meat ...they use chili on it. So my hubs n I paid 15.00 for my BLT with 2 pieces of bacon, FFs, n 2 sodas! Biggest let down yet!!

Everybody there is so welcoming and friendly! My boyfriend and I went for breakfast. He ordered eggs toast and home fries and had no complaints. I had ordered sausage gravy and biscuits but the server said that the sausage gravy wouldn't be done for another half an hour so instead offered chipped beef gravy, I'm not sure on exact name, but I agreed and it turned out to be really good. By the end of breakfast me and my boyfriend were discussing what exactly "pigs in the blanket" were. He had asked one of the servers her opinion and it turned into a poll throughout the entire restaurant. It was about 50/50 on that.
Driving between NY and Chicago on rt 80 we needed a place to stop for lunch. There is not a lot between Scranton and Williamsport. Used Yelp and found the Bloomsburg diner. There were a couple of negative Reviews but the reviewers were not very specific or seemed to have had a negative interaction. In any case, the diner is an independently owned simple small town place. We had patty melts which came with fries. It was a terrific version. Service was attentive and quick. Small businesses need support.

Charming place, warm service, the food was great and the prices were excellent! Shorter operating hours. Check schedule to be sure but I think they close by 2pm.Parking: We had gyros and they were awesome! Meter parking or an app, but one quarter gave you an hour.
