Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

Great food, awesome service even on manic, extremely busy days and a great array of gift shop items as always! It's my husband and I's favorite restaurant and has been for years!

There isn't a bad Cracker Barrel anywhere!!!

The waitress we had forgot to bring the cornbread and biscuits that is signature to Cracker Barrel. She did not notice what she forgot until she asked us if we wanted a container for the gravy that was to go with the biscuits until we were getting the bill.

Got a take out salad from here and there was so much salt in it i could not eat it. Why a salad had salt in it like that is beyond me. This food is either hit or miss.

Best fried chicken in the area. We make it a point to eat there at least once or twice per month... this doesn't sound like much, but in our busy lives, it is more than any other restaurant.

Horrible and shameful, that Cracker Barrel would let this be delivered. I can't drive so I have to depend on delivery.
A WASTE of money!!!
Fresh Fruit Bowl—$4.96--- consisted of 3 pineapple chunks, ½ of a strawberry and 10 blueberries.
Fresh Strawberry French Toast----14.03---a chunk of bread---NOT topped with cheesecake filling, or baked ‘til golden and NOT topped with fresh strawberries and powdered sugar or Strawberry Syrup!

I ordered a salad with grilled chicken. It was so overdone I couldn’t eat it - and could barely cut it. Very disappointed that no one offered to take it off our bill.

7 of us family members went to Bloomsburg cracker barrel.1 granddaughter order cheeseburg sliders cheese wasn't melted food was cold well all our food wasn't hot or even warm fries was only a few nothing like way back wife'sfood cold couldn't even melt butter on potato she asked for country fried ham they said only for breakfast she got that all the time idinner an other stuff my an my other granddaughters chicken fried steak was cold an rest of our food an I ordered cheese bites appetizer didn't get it until waitress asked my wife about something then then waitress brought out my cheese bites when I was eating my dinner biscuits weren't brought out untill dinner used to be before price of cup coffee 349 I believe can buy lake at convenience store for like 2 .00 dollars just a long story of all the food being cold an service sucked I said never again an we been at 1 in Texas a good few times Wilkesbarre pa . An mid west 1 can't remember seems since COVID hit just went down hill

Terrible! Ordered 3 sides with my chicken and dumplings...but when I got it the carrots were thrown into the chicken and dumplings! That is NOT on the side. I ordered the meal, not the soup. So I complained to the waitress. She said "we always do it that way". I said "no you don't. I had this before and all side orders were on the side. That is what a side is." She said "technically it's still a side if it is in the dumplings". ??? I said "no it is not. If it is in the dumplings it is an extra ingredient".
She was as stupid as a brick and could not understand what I was complaining about. She asked me if I wanted extra carrots. I said "no, they are already in the dumplings which is what I am complaining about".
Two minutes later she appears at the table with an extra side of carrots.
I said "I told you I didn't want those. Take them away."
She said "I can't because they already touched the table."
She asked me if I wanted to speak to a manager to which I said No.
Two minutes later...a manager shows up because his waitress told him there was an issue.
I told him it was resolved but repeated how it bothered me to order a side that was not an actual 'side'.
He said "we are instructed to put certain sides right in to the chicken and dumplings"
I soon gave up.
I did not leave a tip.
Cracker Barrel in Bloomsburg PA is TERRIBLE.
They make people feel like idiots, the waitress was a moron, and the manager looked like he had been drunk all night the night before.
Who the heck wants a "side" tossed into the chicken and dumplings?
I will not return.
Plus they are focused on shrimp dishes now...what the heck happened to Cracker Barrel?
