Bloomsburg University has an awesome buffet style selection of foods, deserts, and beverages.. this makes me want to attend this college just for the food alone.. my daughter starts school August 15th 2023 to become an RN, and now I can rest easy knowing she will have plenty of food choices.

Who is managing this place? None of their menus are updated online regularly. I looked on the menu online only to be told that they don't serve said items. Actually the place that said it was open, was in fact closed. So yeah you are forced to swipe to know what they are selling and as a vegan its usually nothing at all for breakfast or just steamed broccoli and tofu daily for lunch and dinner. Half the fruit is rotting as well :). Got yapped at to step two feet to the right since she told me that's where the line is when there was only 3 students in the whole building only one of them being in "line"! She physically stopped serving that student their food so she can go yell at me to step two feet to the right :). They also change the line direction for no reason for breakfast and lunch. Also the only vegan option for breakfast was hashbrowns to which I only got 30% of my plate filled and was told I had to come back for more since that's the serving size when that's the only thing I could eat in the building since the fruit was rotting lol. They also can't properly clean.

Food is not good at all. Deserts are pretty okay. Dishes and especially the cups are often dirty. Some workers and some management are rude. Barely have a good experience here.

Please, be kind to ALL restaurant staff! Just because a table is open does not mean it’s available! The hostess you are torturing is probably 15! Kitchens are beyond hot, and very busy! They are doing their best! When you make dinner at home, it takes about an hour. Right? Imagine making 45 different dinners at the same time, all with special requests! TIP your servers and your bartenders!! Compliments do not pay their bills! It has been a long year, and people have very quickly forgotten how hard restaurants are working! Be patient, be kind, be grateful

Great food here

It's an okay place to eat. However the food is average most days and bad when kids aren't here. Which makes sense. Thought on family weekends and special days the food elevates to a level that is honestly exceptional at times . The commons consistently offers food for many diverse groups of people

I love this place. I'll be back to visit even though I no longer go to school here. John Davis is an amazing person as is Chip and the rest of the staff

Surprisingly good food for a college campus. Was definitely impressed with both the wide selection of foods as well as the quality.

Always a theme per day in reference to type of food. All you can eat taco's, sandwiches, hotdogs, corn dog's, nachos. Fresh salad bar, plus your main course which is served as a healthy alternative. As a full time student the breakfast can become a bit redundant. The same food during breakfast, make yourself a waffle with a side bar of different toppings. Great staff, very helpful. Overall a satisfying experience with decent food choices and taste.

Aramark operation. I've not much good to say about Aramark. Low wages for the staff and it is reflected in the attitude of the staff. They are all profit driven operations that serve low quality products. Be it a college cafeteria, a sports venue or a county jail they're running. Would never recommend their corporation for any reason.

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. I'd add 2 extra stars for Chip alone. She's an angel when she greets you at the door. Then I'd add 1 extra star for the commons cookies. But I'd also have to subtract 1 star because the cookies are the reason I dont make it to the gym at night after dinner.

Big variety of food. Always! Visit the homemade ice cream lady's spot.
