The owner and staff were very welcoming and accommodating with our menu and bar options. Planning with them was a breeze. We were very happy with the food. We actually had a difficult time hitting the minimum at the end of the night! We highly recommend hosting your private party at Chestnut Hill Brewing!“

“Eda's New Haven Tomato Pie is it! I'm not a fan of the thick/cold standard we have in the local area, so I was excited to try Eda's style. This thing is huuuuge and full of simple but quality flavor. Great New Haven char. You can taste the individual ingredients in every bite. I had like 4 really nice bubbles on my pie too. Beautiful. I'll be back to try the cheese soon!“

“My boyfriend and I come to the restaurant quite often! Rina, her husband, her father, their daughter, and all staff are amazing! If you walked out or passed by this restaurant, you NEED to try it out! As an ex waitress, sometimes it’s a good idea to make a reservation on a Friday/Saturday night. They have plenty of space to serve you and those you’re with. I know sometimes people can get hopped up because “they’re not getting waited on”, but trust me, they know you’re there, just be patient and the food is always worth it! They’re always accommodating when it comes to your food and choices.

This is THE ONLY restaurant that’s survived this area. I’ve been in this area since 1995 and there have been MANY restaurants here.

“The variety of food and service at Poke It Up was very good. Honestly wish I'd tried it sooner! There are different varieties of poke bowls to select from or you can make your own. The fish was very fresh and came with a healthy portion of rice. The veggies and sauce complimented the meal and the serving size (for me) was quite large so easily came for two meals.
