The food was delicious! We had not been to pudges bluebell for cheesesteaks in a while,
because our local location closed

As a long time returning customer, I have to say it was definitely worth the trip.

Over the weekend, I ordered their turkey hoagie with the usual toppings, plus mayo and banana peppers. Wow!
It’s such a simple sandwich, but I was impressed by the quality of the ingredients and the generous amount of rotisserie-style turkey deli meat they piled high.
It was a massive hoagie and quite messy to eat, but sometimes those are the best meals, in my opinion.
I will stop by again if I’m in the area. My local spot just doesn’t taste the same after trying a hoagie from Pudge’s.

Their BIG cheese streaks are exactly what they claim to be and are worth the price of admission! Not the absolute best steak I've ever had but good for the burbs. Would recommend if in the area .

The pudge hoagie is the BEST!!! Always a fresh roll, good quality and friendly fast service! Love coming to this spot! Also they have a great buffalo chicken cheesesteak!!

They pack their cheese steaks with just the right amount of cheese and steaks. The rolls are perfect. The sauce for the onion rings was tasty and original.

I truly think these are the best cheesesteaks in the local area. My grandmother ordered cheesesteaks from Pudge’s when I was younger and she has convinced our family that these are the best cheesesteaks around. Highly recommend.

As a Philly native, I take my cheesesteaks seriously—and Pudge’s absolutely delivered! The steak was flavorful, the roll was perfect, and overall, it was one of the best sandwiches I’ve had in a long time.

My only minor suggestion would be about how the toppings are served. By default, the onions and mushrooms come on top of the meat rather than chopped and mixed in. For me, that blend of juicy steak and sautéed veggies all cooked together is part of the classic experience. In fairness, there is a handwritten sign near the counter letting customers know they can request their toppings mixed in—I just didn’t see it while scanning the menu board. Clearly, I’m not the only one who prefers it that way!

Maybe it would be helpful to flip the default: mix everything in unless requested otherwise. But either way, I’ll definitely be back—next time with my veggies mixed right in!!
