Pudges Steaks and Hoagies Blue Bell

We were visiting from Virginia and went in to grab a cheesesteak! Seriously the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had! Will for sure return when we come back! My son got a burger said it’s the best he’s ever had! Though he’s 9 so! But seriously the portion and the cheesesteak itself was delicious!

Cheesesteak sandwich had plenty of meat and cheese with good flavor; what you expect when you order a cheesesteak. Bread was slightly subpar, reminiscent of a roll you could buy at the grocery store. A better roll with a little crisp would do well. Girl attending counter was preouccipied by her conversation and ignored customers who were waiting in line.

Back in the day, these cheesesteaks used to be terrific. First time I’ve been here in years and was I completely disappointed. I got a mushroom cheesesteak with Cooper sharp.
First off the positive. You get plenty of meat on the sandwich.
The negatives….. Roll was very soft and if that’s how you like it you’re in luck . The steak itself was chopped up so much that it was like it was put in a blender, similar to the consistency of sloppy Joe ground beef and also similar in quality! The cooper sharp, if there was any,was a hint of liquidy tasteless goo. I was so lucky I didn’t drive out of my way for this!

BTW, all those awards on the wall are at least 10+ years old ! Just sayin’

I called three days ahead to order food for a party and still showed up at the agreed upon time and waited 30 minutes for the food to be ready while watching people who came in to order walk out with their food right away. Not worth my time.

Ordered a medium buffalo chicken cheese steak and they piled up the chicken on the roll and served it with a fork. I was so happy! Felt like I was getting two sandwiches for the price of one. Will always come back here when in the area.

Cheesesteak Hoagie was FANTASTIC Pudges Homeade Chips were delicious Owner was very personable. extremely friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Very large sub, high quality materials. I ate an Italian Sub that was so large that 4 people ate it.
