We had a good dinner at Castello. Our server was friendly and very attentive. There were 5 of us. But the table was big enough for six. So we had ample of room for all the bottles and plates. We brought a bottle of wine and ordered one from the restaurant. No corking fee was charged. Friday is a busy evening at the restaurant. It is best to make a reservation in advance.
Always a great meal. Our server was fantastic, and the place was decorated beautifully for the holidays.
Great food with amazing atmosphere. Highly recommend for celebrations. We went for a birthday and it was perfect. During this time of the year they are already decorated for Christmas as well!
One of our area favorites- had dinner with friends -had a drink at the bar first & everyone enjoyed what they ordered for dinner. Arugula salad, beef carpaccio to start & special stuffed pork chop, eggplant Parmesan served in a hot skillet & orange roughy fish with crab. All delicious. Lots of choices on the dessert tray, we chose the apple tart with vanilla ice cream! Attentive staff & festive atmosphere! Holiday decorations go up soon-we will be back!
Had a great time experience at the bar but after that it went down hill. After getting seated the server was all over the place. Our appetizer was not cooked, our meal was not good veggies where not cooked. Pour service after that was never checked on nor asked about the food until we were ready to leave. Had high hopes but was disappointed.
From the moment our party of 4 aged late 60's arrival, the evening was disappointing. We arrived exactly on time for our reservations. The older, blonde hostess greeted us with a look of disdain, she did not say hello or welcome. She snapped an order to staff on where to seat us Our waitress, sadly, was also arrogant and aloof. She too did not engage with us and did bare minimum of mechanical service. I dare say she really does not like her job. We have dined here before. The place is lovely, the food is very good but not great & overpriced given the poor service. $16.00 for an expresso & one scoop of ice cream for example. We dine out frequently and this arrogance is not attractive. There are many other excellent restaurants nearby that are happy to have the business and are welcoming to their patrons.
Very busy night. Service was very good considering how busy they were. Food was good, although the veal dish i had was a little chewy. Meal service was well coordinated. It is a very noisy room, with no real sound deadening. Even curtains would help. Otherwise a very nice restaurant. Will be going back again.
Josephine the hostess greeted us with a smile and immediately showed us to our table. Nicole, our waitress greeted us with a smile and began conversation. She was very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. Our food was delicious. We will certainly return at a future time.
We were having a lovely evening until our waiter asked us to vacate our table . We never got to order coffee or desserts. We had reservations at 5:30. Were a few minutes early and were asked to leave at 7:10 because there was a group waiting for our table! How rude! This was after spending over $600 for dinner for 5. I can't believe they would plan to turn a table in 1 1/2 hours. Will not rush back!
Food is very good and the staff is wonderful. Noise level is very loud. It's hard to hold a conversation. Not a place for an intimate dining experience if that's what you want.

Our dinners took forever to arrive. When we inquired to the manager, she went to check on them and brought them out immendiately so apparently they were sitting in the kitchen. One dish was Branzino which was $56 and had no flavor whatsoever and one dish was a filet that was supposed to be medium well and was medium rare. We are long time patrons and were VERY disappointed. The manager was apologetic and tried to make to right and offered us a credit to apply to our diner.
Three of us went for a last minute birthday lunch on a Tuesday so it wasn't crowded. Nicole, our server was friendly and attentive. Our salads were delicious and more than ample. My son ordered two appetizers, tuna tartar and crab rice which he really enjoyed.
Food was delicious and our server, Nicole was top notch. She was friendly, not over friendly, knowledgeable and very competent. Will be going back.
Greeted was welcoming, our first time there. The food was very good. However, I did not get a warm feeling from our server. It was our anniversary and the first time there. We will come back. She made a few comments that I did not appreciate and even commented that I had 3 glasses of wine.
Waiter and food were excellent. Our table was by the singer so it was loud and a little difficult to converse with the table.
