Today my husband and I went there for breakfast and the food we both got was delicious. And the waitress was so friendly and kind too. After we ordered our food, it didn’t take long at all until it came out to us. I would definitely recommend going back there again for breakfast!

Good, standard breakfast. Nothing wow, but no complaints. Their homemade jam (blueberry and lemon) was nice; they should advertise it more.

The grilled stickies were delicious, and the blueberry-lemon jam was so good that I polished it off with a spoon. The jam is love. The jam is life.

Food is always deliciously tasting! They make you feel welcome and service is prompt. Only draw back I can see is people love to meet and eat, which sometimes can cause a wait.
Also I’m a person who loves breakfast for all meals. They close around 3.

Great breakfast food with good service and fantastic coffee. Their biscuits are tender and tasty and pair excellently with their homemade and their lemon blueberry jam or apple butter (both amazing!). It is a place I visit with great frequency. Brought some other out of towners to it and they are still talking about their biscuits and salsa 2 years later!
Only problem is finding the right time to go when it isn't too busy!

Small breakfast place just outside of State College. Have been there several times now. Food is always fresh & excellent. Service is outstanding. Depending on timing there can be a wait but its well worth it. We got lucky on Superbowl Sunday w/ no wait at all for a party of 7. But a lot of PA kids went home to watch the game. Perfect for us!

this place was bumping after the whiteout GAME. The staff was super hard working and managed the influx of customers. One of the best Monte Cristos I’ve had. Great stop outside State College.

I’m a customer who goes every weekend and this past weekend I waited for 45 minutes for a table and another customer who came in after me got seated first. Same number of people in their party as mine. When I asked how that happened they said oh don’t worry your next. But these people definitely were favored first because they are also regulars. This wasn’t the first offense there either. One other time I was having breakfast with a friend who I hadn’t seen in a long time. We sat and chatted awhile and the owner told us we needed to leave because he needed our table for other people. Poor customer service. It’s unfortunate because the food is good but I don’t know if I will go back. Poorly managed.

A friend and I visited this past Sunday for breakfast. It was busy, which was very understandable, but I have some thoughts:

1. If you do go at a busy time, go in a group of 4-6. The seating available for two is inadequate and while we waited for an hour to be seated, group after group was seated before us.

2. I don’t feel the quality of my food matched price, and our wait time just to be seated was 3x as long as the time it took us to actually eat our meal. The meal time altogether was uninspiring.

3. If I go back—and I’m willing to—I’ll order something else and make sure I’m either with a larger group or when it’s not busy.
