I have tried many times to go to the store in Chichester. it is closed even though the hours on the door say it's open . Finally iI called and a woman answered. I asked if the store was open as it stated on the door. the door was locked as if it was closed. she said fine come to the door. i wanted to order a cake. when i entered i asked a question. the woman said she didn't have time for chit chat or to talk. the store was supposed to be open another half hour. at this point. i told her i will never buy a cake from anyone so rude. I called the other store to complain . i will never shop here.

12/14/2023 I was just at the Chichester store and it will be my last time! The lady was rude to me as well as the lady in front of me and when i left she was bad mouthing me from what the lady in front of me said. After talking to several people about my experience there today, they also have heard of the ignorance in that store! There food is not worth the ignorance!!!

Drove from De to get something special for my birthday, what a mistake. The lady was not friendly at all. I was already was feeling blue since family forgot my day, didn't need to feel worse.

I ordered a cake for today. I called to be sure it was in. The woman was so nasty and rude saying they didn’t have it and hung up on me. Awful. I wonder how nasty rude people would feel if they were treated the way they treat others.

I called the Boothwyn location to inquire about a cookie order. The woman told me she was too busy to talk and told me to call the Chester location. I spoke to the woman at the Chester location (she was lovely) and she gave me the order information and told me to call it in at the Boothwyn location. When I called the woman at Boothwyn to place my order she told me she was too busy and hung up the phone on me. Terrible customer service. I will not be using this bakery.

This place isn't what it used to be. Higher prices and extremely rude customer service. They act like your bothering them as soon as you walk in the place. I would advise people go somewhere else until they can start treating people like humans.

The Perogies are always fantastic, I prefer to buy them from kyj’s rather than the ones you traditionally find in the frozen section. I’ve never had a bad experience with the owner that’s in there (she’s the only one I’ve seen in there working) she’s always very nice and sometimes we even have small talk.

I called the Boothwyn store to inquire about a strawberry shortcake. I was told the cakes would be ready at 12pm, great! I then asked her if the cakes had enough room to fit wording. Before I could finish my sentence she very rudely and loudly cut me off to say “No, I don’t write names on anything without payment.” I told her that is not what I was asking and just wanted to be sure a name could fit on the cake. I was so turned off by the lack of customer service that I immediately called the next bakery in Aston who very pleasantly provided me with the cake I was searching for. This place is always empty and now I see why. Very rude customer service.

I went today. The door was locked. It was twelve. There was a person inside. I have been to this store. It is never open. I'm done trying.
First off I want to say that they have amazingly good pierogi but.....The person working there was EXTREMELY rude. When I went in they didn't have many pierogi in the fridge so I asked if they had any more. The woman instantly went off. "NO! AND DON'T ASK ME A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS!" I said when do you expect more in? Her: "I JUST TOLD YOU DON'T ASK ME A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS AND WHAT DO YOU DO? YOU ASK ME A BUNCH OF QUESTIONS!" Me: I asked you one reasonable question. Her: "I DON'T KNOW WHEN THEY WILL BE IN! THEY MIGHT BE IN SHORTLY OR THIS AFTERNOON, WHO KNOWS? and then listed the days they usually get deliveries but by then I was so taken aback by her attitude I wasn't paying attention. She did calm down a bit after that and I did buy some pierogi but in retrospect I should have just left. I don't think I'll go back I can get their pierogi at Delaware Provisions

Walked in for the first time there was no one else in the store We greeted the Woman behind the counter and were treated like we were bothering her. Worst customer experience ever didn't even bother placing an order it's A shame because the cakes looked good! Judging by the previous reviews I would suggest making a customer service change. I walked in for the first time at the Boothwyn location and the lady behind the counter made it seem like it was a total inconvenience that I was even in there in the first place. I started to order and she started complaining about how I wasn't ordering incorrectly. She then went ahead and started complaining about how other customers also order incorrectly. It was so uncomfortable and rude, so I told her never mind and left. Needless to say I won't be going back.

I dont care how good the food is. The person working there I dont know if she was the owner or just a worker the way she spoke to me was the worst customer service ive ever had. I'll spend my money somewhere else. All i did was ask a couple questions and she got so annoyed with me.......maybe this line of work aint for you lady.
