Great Food! We all had the chocolate chip pancakes and they were great! The fried potatoes with sausage was also great!I had to order a side of the potatoes to go so that my mom could try them (very delicious)!
Made reservations for 15 people for 11 am Saturday September 4th, only to arrive to a closed restaurant with a hand written sign saying that the restaurant was closed for the holiday weekend. Why take a reservation if you aren't going to be open, or to close without calling and canceling the reservation made?
THIS PLACE WAS REALLY GOOD!!! The service, the food, the price, the cuteness.I got the creamed chipped beef and it was to die for. The Monte Crisco sandwich was heavenly. Absolutely 10/10 would recommend!
Wife and I took a bike ride to find a good place to get breakfast. Based on reviews the Bear den sounded like something we were looking for. They have a nice menu, good prices. We both had cheesesteak omelets that were prepared as requested and coffee was good. Recommend this restaurant for good food and nostalgic interior with old bleachers for wall paneling.
Such a cozy place! It's done right food. Never a bad meal or service.
Although my husband likes there food alot, I don't know if we will be back , it took over an hour to get a western omelet and cream chip beef , which I know they don't make it from scratch every order. I had to literally go up to the counter and ask where our food was after I watched the people that came in after us , get served there food ,finish there food and leave . While we sat there it nothing . You would think for the inconvenience they would give a discount or something.... nope not even an apology from the person I would say was the owner. They were not super busy at all .
Love the breakfast at the Bear's Den. Go every Sunday , more or less. The atmosphere there is very good.
Excellent food, hometown business,, friendly people, no hurries, can’t wait to come back. Forget the chain restaurants this is your place to go.
Breakfast took over a half an hour to be delivered to our table and there were only three other tables in the restaurant. Side dishes were so over cooked they were in edible. The restaurant was quaint. Lunch menu had a few interesting options. I will go back again one more time to give it another chance.
Nice people and atmosphere, but food took an hour to come. Perhaps they can't get enough help

Went to visit family in Boyertown, Pa, This small place. clean, had the best fresh breakfast and I eat out often. I am unable to upload the photo since it is too big to upload, but I had an omelet with fresh spinach, mushrooms, ham, and cheese. The potatoes were very, very good and fresh. The bread and strawberry spread was great. My son had the cream chips beef, eggs and bacon. It was all fabulous. It is a small place and takes a little time but worth it.
Always enjoy going here. We have been here a handful of times now in the past 6 months and everytime we were greeted so nicely, waited on right away, and had a hot wonderful breakfast in no time. Just took my dad there this morning for Father's Day and even though his mind isn't all there anymore... his first comment was how quickly we got waited on. We also love the Boyertown theme and the old wood inside! Highly recommend it for anyone who hasn't tried it before!
Good food, good service. Slow food prep.
Stopped here while on a trip, and I believe finding this place was the closest to winning the lottery I’ve gotten. I was blessed with a perfectly seasoned omelette with generous amounts of meat, followed by one of the single best plates of biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had. I will be back and I will be bringing friends!! Thank you so much bear den!!
Uncovered a hidden gem for sure! Staff was friendly and food was delicious!
