Absolutely the coziest and nicest cafe in all southeast PA. I cant help but be a regular here. The atmosphere is always wonderful, the staff are always so friendly, and the food is always superb. Great spot for artists to sketch on their patio when its warm or next to the fireplace when its cold out.

Coffee is great but the customer service not so much! When I came in this morning no one greeted me or asked how I can be helped. The people behind the register were staring so I spoke and said good morning to break the ice! That’s terrible. But the drink was pretty good!

I was there for a private party so i don't know about their food or service! The café is so cute! I would like to go there during their normal business hours.

My husband and I got lunch here before our historic train ride. It is a very easy walk across the street from the train station. It offers a lot of outdoor seating under a beautiful old tree, tastefully decorated with pumpkins for fall. They have a small area for indoor dining as well that feels homey & cozy with lovely seasonal artwork on the brick walls. The line was very long when we arrived for lunch, it took about 40 minutes total for us to order at the counter, get our food, eat, and head back to the train. I really loved the atmosphere but I ordered a nitro cold brew that tasted weak & watered down. We both ordered the ham grilled cheese with applebutter. I really enjoyed the flavor combination but thought the description was a little misleading since the ratios of all the ingredients made it more of a ham sandwich not very much liked a grilled cheese. I was also a little disappointed that they only serve breakfast until 11am because my first choice would have been a breakfast sandwich.

The quality of food doesn’t justify the cost to eat here anymore. I still enjoy the special monthly bevs & the atmosphere.

Quaint place tucked in Boyertown, right near the Colebrook RR station. We ordered a breakfast wrap and breakfast bowl, with campfire smore iced coffee, everything was delicious. Friendly service, clean place, indoor and outdoor seating
Come check it out!

This spot used to be my absolutely favorite coffee spot but recently it has totally gone downhill - I’m not sure what’s happening. I got eggs that were so salty I couldn’t eat them and my iced coffee tasted like the coffee has been sitting in the pitcher for a week. Please go back to your old ways!

I have been coming here for a while. I love the coffee and the environment. But my grandmother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and I recommended we stop here after one of her appointments earlier this week, and she LOVES it. We pass it nearly every time we come to and from her treatments…and we’re about to go for the 3rd time this week tomorrow morning before treatment. Brakeman’s brings a smile to her face so I’m sure we will be visiting quite often!

I've been here several times and always enjoyed it, very charming and cute and the food was always good in the past.
Today I had the special everything bagel with salmon and cream cheese.
The bagel was really subpar.
It reminds me of a bagel that would have been bought in a bag from pepperidge farms. It was just horrible, I was really disappointed because in the past the bagels were good, like a real NY style bagel.
Even the local supermarkets bagels from their bakery section tasted significantly better than Brake man's bagel today.
The service was very good, the salmon was good, and I had a nitro cold brew that was excellent. But I came here starving after a 6-mile walk and was extremely disappointed in a bagel, it ruined the sandwich.
I don't know if they change their vendor, but I think the quality of the bagel is something they need to revisit. It was so bad I just felt like... I don't think I'd come back and eat here, which is a shame because the place inside is so charming the outside eating area is so cute and the service and staff have always been very friendly.

Food is delicious, great staff. Lots of yummy options. Love the nostalgia of the building.
