I've eaten food from Firefly Cafe for years. Eating a vegan diet has not only allowed me to give up meat, but also I learned that soy milk or almond milk didn't bother my stomach like regular milk does.

This is a great place to visit even if youre not hungry. There are loads of beautiful plant life in the restaurant, fun vintage items and even some interesting pantry items for sale. I tried the breakfast sammy, apple crisp macchiato and the pecan sticky bun.... All were pretty tasty. The breakfast sandwich was delicious and was nice and hot and flaky! I also really enjoy the bun pastry. The service was great as well.

Came here the other day with my son for the purpose of checking out Charlotte Street Coffee Co. after seeing a post online. Was super stoked and kept an open mind and ended up ordering a matcha latte and my son, a refresher. Unfortunately mine tasted off, like the mix had expired or sat for too long. My son said something along the same lines of his refresher tasting like watered down chemicals. I really wanted to like it and have a better experience, while also adding the prices as they are too pricey compared to competitors. If the drinks where more satisfying and there were more milk options, the price may have been worth it but even then I think that's asking for too much. I may return in the future just to support the Boyertown community but as for now I'll be going to somewhere more affordable with more milk options as well, who also use local coffee beans since their's is sourced in Newark, Delaware by Little Goat Coffee. I hope this review is helpful.

Drove 45 minutes to try this place FireFly Cafe and Charlotte Coffee Company connected. Had about ten items on their menu. No Mac and cheese left. No egg available. Leaves you with about four options left. One being a bagel with cream cheese, some BBQ wings, a burrito and some muffins. I didn't get anything and just left. Disappointing. What is even the point of this place? I'd call ahead and see if they are actually fully functioning the day you plan on going. It was empty and now I see for good reason. Wouldn't recommend and not going back.

OMG! I love coming here when I visit family. Food is always to die for and now the attached coffee shop has the most delicious looking baked goods. Unfortunately I didn't eat any because I was absolutely stuffed from my meal but I did order a coffee and it really hit the spot. Thank you Firefly for making amazing vegan food and treats.??
DONT WASTE YOUR TIME I want this place to be good so bad. It's the only vegan/healthy place for miles and it sucks. The first time I went there I was ordering take out as I was working. i was exited that they were actually open as I had been wanting to try their food but their hours were a bit odd and they never seemed to be open when I was able to go. I ended up having to go a serious emergency and I even called to tell them I wouldn't be able to pick up my food for an hour and whoever was on the phone told me to wait a minute and put the cook on the phone. Mind you I'm having a serious medical emergency and was just calling them as a quick courtesy. He then had the audacity to ask me why I wouldn't be able to pick up my food on time. I told them I was having a medical emergency and they scoffed at me. This was bizarre to me. You're welcome for notifying you that I wasn't going to be on time. Anyways, I ended up being able to get my order that day. I had ordered a black bean burger and smoothie. It was subpar as far as vegan food goes. Seriously unremarkable. The smoothie was so chunky it was hard to drink and quite unpleasant. All of this being said, I was willing to give them another chance. I didn't end up going again for a couple months due to their horrible hours and my previous experience. I ended up going in person and was excited to sit down and have a great healthy meal. I thought maybe it would be better if i ate in instead of take out. Well I was wrong. When I walked in whoever was working the counter was not friendly at all. Her energy was very stand offish like she was annoyed customers were there. She asked me to put a mask on which I don't have a problem with but then proceeded to tell me that no dine in was available "due to covid". This is 2023....like really? Anyways when I went to order, I noticed the prices had SIGNIFICANTLY risen to the point where I was limiting myself in what I ordered simply because I couldn't pay so much for just one meal. So upsetting...must be due to covid. Again, my food was unremarkable. Unremarkable, insanely expensive, served with a side of negativity. I came here to feel good and my experiences here are so so disappointing. As the only vegan place for miles, please do better. And if you're considering going here, reconsider. Your money would be better spent at the local kimberton Whole Foods. It's only about a 15 minute drive from here and everybody that works there is so sweet and the food there rocks! Don't waste your time at this place.

Needless to say I was done . Nice small niche bakery but I'd prolly not return just due to not much else in the area.
