Took myself out for my Birthday and got a steak, it was to die for!!! Very friendly and fast staff. Amazing drink specials, good time for the whole family.
Looked forward to going here for a little while, decided to go for a birthday dinner and disappointed would be an understatement, the staff although very polite seemed very untrained as they came back to the table 3 times to ask about our order. When we got our meals the one was cold enough that the cheese in the cor don blue wasn't even melted, the prime rib was more like a flat iron steak, the other meal was ok, the curly fries are really good and that was the highlight of the meal. I thought $82 for 3 people and meals of this quality with no alcohol was a little over the top. We won't be back
We went to the pit stop as a family. We did not need reservations because there was only one other table. The restaurant was very quiet, they turned on music 1/2 way thru our dinner. The staff was extremely nice. My meal was very good, but others had issues with their steak being over cooked or under cooked. But everyone did what they could to make everything better. Our waitress was brand new, but she was very good. I'm not sure if they don't have dessert or just forgot to offer it. I think they are changing the name of the restaurant and rebranding, so I will be visiting in the near future to check it out.
My family and I went to the Pit Stop about 6 months ago. It was wing night and we were kind of disappointed the place was empty. We knew there were new owners, but didn't know how the quality was affected. We hadn't been there in years. I ordered Honey mustard wings and they weren't too bad. Could have been cooked a little bit more, but not the worst. I can't remember what my husband ordered, but do remember him saying it wasn't bad. My son had a cheeseburger and liked it. We also had a Buffalo chicken dip for am appetizer which was incredible! The waitress was super nice and the hostess was sweet and helpful. My rating is a little above average but not very good. I will go back again. I can completely understand when new owners are trying new staff and cooks. They will get their groove and it will be great again.
Worst Valentines Day dinner ever. Noone was there and food was bad.No rolls 1/2 of a baked potatoe no other side crab cakes soaked in butter awful dates steak was covered in fat and asked for fresh coffee after first cup was like mud.was told he got fresh coffee second time was grey and awful.very poor experience.
I’ve been going with my family for the past 40 years to the pit stop and it always brought back memories of going with my parents when they were still alive and we’d go. I walked in with my family tonight to find that it had been sold to new owners. We walked in and we were all completely stunned at what we saw. I was almost in tears at what the pit stop has become now. We had reservations for 7:00 for a party of 7 and when we showed up we were told that the hostess had to go talk to a manager. When she came back she told us 5 minutes and we waited around that before the manager herself came over and told us it would be another 5 minutes. They then took us to the back room and shoved us in the corner of the room where a wedding party was happening. The wedding party looked extremely irritated that they brought us in and the waiters started taking down their decorations. Once we were finally seated, we looked at the “limited Valentine’s Day” menu and looked at each other and we were all extremely disappointed to the point where we couldn’t even bring ourselves to order food. We had to leave and the only things they had to say was, “oh you’re leaving? Have a good night.” I wish I would’ve known what this place had become before we made the trip out there. None of the old staff is there that we saw. No jr. or anyone. What a disgrace. It’s extremely sad that after so many years, that was the last time we’ll ever be going to pit stop.
What happened to the old Pit Stop. Our experience was aweful. We ordered surf and turf and porterhouse steak. My steak looked like s piece of sirloin steak and the lobster was so overdone and only had 5 bites of lobster. The porterhouse was thin. Looked more like a t-bone. I was offered 2 sides with my dinner. My husband was only offered one side. I feel as if I threw $100 away & got nothing. We will never be going back again.
We spend 2 hrs here most of the time was waiting wasn't really busy for the time we waited food was simple and excellent but very pricy spent 135 with tip for a beer , Malibu bay brease. 2 steaks 2 lobster tails, 1 side each bake potato both servings
Recently had dinner here with my husband and friends. My husband had the Delmonico and I had the Prime Rib. Everything was excellent. The salads were fresh and the steaks were cooked just the way we requested with great flavor. We have not been here for years but decided to give it a try because we love supporting small local restaurants. We will definitely return again.
Have been here twice, enjoy the food and the decor. Steak is good, my husband loved the salmon. Good selection of wine.

Every time I have been here I have had the Delmonico. Tonight my husband and I both tried the Prime Rib. Excellent!. The blue cheese dressing was just the way I like it, thick with lots of blue cheese. The only disappointment was the bread. It was sliced of a baguette that was luke warm. We have been coming here for over 20 years. There was a time after the original owner sold it that it really wasn't good. I think the most recent owners are on the right track. It was a snowy night tonight and I hope that is the reason they weren't busier.
The staff was helpful and sweet. The rest was just really bad. Food was bad. Really bad. I’m not sure there was any alcohol in my martini and usually you taste that. We have eaten here off and on over the past 30 years and wow. What a disappointment. Don’t waste your time or money.
huge disappointment- horrible food
Only bright spot is beer was cold. If you got one!! We tried this place over 5 times hoping for a turnaround since new owners but everything from service to food was horrible every time. They had no clue of there own specials and food was done poorly. Sucks losing a great local spot for steaks but new owners clearly can’t compete not sure they’re even trying anymore. All they promote now is bands playing
Awesome food! Great Service!
