This is the quintessential "corner bar". Lots of locals. Lots of really nice people. One of those "if you are looking for a problem you found it" bars. Other than that the regulars are extremely friendly to friendly outsiders. It is a SMOKING bar (don't like cigarette smoke, go elsewhere). The food is bar food, however it fairly priced and portions are big ($7 will buy you a burger with more fries than most people can eat). GREAT PLACE for music. They like to load up their juke box and they usually have a DJ on hand after 4 (he take requests). Lots of 70-80s classic rock, but they will play anything.I highly recommend to people who are NOT pretentious or high maintenance. Salt of the Earth .

Its okay for a small bar. Need to axe the smoking indoors before you axe the curse words. Nothing is worse than smelling like an ashtray!!

Boots loves music, which should be a good enough reason to love them! Seriously, Friday and Saturday nights there is ALWAYS something going on over and above the jukebox. Bands, Karaoke, DJs, it's happening at Boots. A neighborhood dive bar in tune with keeping you entertained.
