Chef & I Catering

We had the Chef & I Cater our company party on January 16 at the Iron City Distillery and they did an amazing job. the food was delicious and plenty of food. Their potatoes are amazing along with their cod. I would definitely use them again.

We got married at Soldiers and Sailors on 1/25/25, and Chef and I Catering was the most obvious choice to choose from our venue's catering list. We worked very closely with Nikki, and she was always responsive and knowledgable with any questions I had. Our tasting was amazing, and we knew our wedding day plated meals would be stellar. On our wedding day, they set up everything beautifully, and the amount of compliments we got on the food was outstanding. Seriously the best!! We opted for the plated dinner service, and all the waiters and waitresses were prompt and kind. The courses flowed seamlessly. I could not recommend Chef and I Catering more!

They catered my husband's birthday party at Iron City Distilling and people are still telling me how much they enjoyed the food! I have often found buffet food to be dry, flavorless and unimpressive but the broccoli was perfectly cooked and still held its' crunch. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade. The chicken marsala was delicious and the beef tips were so good they were GONE by the event's end. Trust me, get Nikki and her team to cater, you won't be disapointed!

We used the Chef and I Catering to handle our company holiday party this year and they did a great job. My expectations were exceeded and the professional staff arrived at our venue ready to go. We have already booked them for Dec 2026. Thanks!!!

They provided a wonderful Christmas Lunceon buffet for our church women's group. The was delicious and the service attentive from serving the buffet to bussing the tables and clean up. I highly recommend them.

We chose the Chef and I for my daughter's baby shower. We were happy with the menu choices. The Chef and I accommodated our personal requests without hesitation. We were pleased with the pricing, service and efficiency. The food was delicious. Our guests were still talking about the food a week later. We would definitely have the Chef and I cater for us again.

We chose Chef & I Catering for our 30th High School reunion. They were easy to work with and were flexible with the planning. The guests were very complimentary of the meal and quality of the food. I was concerned that we would have enough food and there ended up being plenty to go around with no problems at all. They come highly recommended and I will certainly use them again when the opportunity arises.

We used Chef and I for our wedding caterer. Oh my goodness was it amazing! The food was phenomenal, and reasonably priced. They are very responsive and were willing to have our cake put out first for our guests, as a family tradition. Our guests are still raving about how good the food was, as are we!!

The Chef and I was a preferred vendor from our venue, and it was obvious why. Nikki was so helpful from the very start from answering any questions to allowing us to change one of our choices for cocktail hour. The food quality at our tasting appointment was amazing and that did not change on the wedding day. We heard from everyone how good they thought the food was, especially their signature potatoes. We booked them for a buffet, but they served us our food at our table which helped tremendously. At the end of dinner, they even packaged all the leftover food in trays for us to bring home. From beginning to end, they were phenomenal, and we would definitely book them again.

In addition to the food always being delicious, they are very responsive during planning, professional staff and always on time!

The Chef and I was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding caterer. We worked with Nikki who was very organized and quick to answer our emails and phone calls. Everything at the wedding was perfect; the staff was so friendly and we got so many compliments on how delicious the food was. The Chef and I was also much more affordable than anywhere else we looked into, but you wouldn't be able to tell based on the quality. We definitely recommend them!

Fabulous food and service for a funeral luncheon. The chicken Romano was amazing, smashed potatoes delicious, everything just yum. The server took care of everything, which was so nice not to have worry about.

Nikki and her team were fantastic! We had them recommended to us through the venue, as they work there often. They did such a great job making sure everything was easy and seamless. The tasting was great, and communication was easy. The food was incredible! We had Chicken Romano, Steak in a Cajun Cream Sauce, Angel Hair Pasta with Tomato Basil Sauce, veggies, and Potatoes and a Garlic Cream sauce. We had so many compliments on the food! The staff was very professional. They prepped a lot the day before the wedding at the venue, and we paid the fee to have them tray and replenish our cookies throughout the reception.
