One cook + 2 high school students in the kitchen doing who knows what, because they sure as heck weren't giving the cook any help. We had been on the road for about 10 hours. Called ahead & told it would be 40 minutes...OK, it was a Sat. night. Placed our takeout order. No payment info taken over the phone, which I thought was odd. Arrived about 12 minutes later...and that's when the kitchen got our order & the 40 minute wait started. WTH!? Never again...
Not only did my 9 year old have a blast, we also ate very well for a fair price. The service was stellar and we will make a point to visit often. I get why they have been open so long and why they will be open decades from now too.
Staff very friendly, the bar/ counter where we sat very clean, well kept.
We had subs, italian small deli, and full size Togi steak. The beers ICE cold! Special shout out to Savannah for her recommendations and cheerful attitude.
