Food was inedible except for the egg roll. Sesame Chicken was so overcooked and rock hard it was inedible. I felt like I was served rocks. Dumplings (8) were full of uncooked hard pieces of cabbage and crunch was extremely surprising and unpleasant. Would not order from here again.

I've been coming here since I was young since I grew up in Bridgeport. I will forever compare other Chinese food to China Star as nothing is the same! Whenever I am in town visiting, I make sure to stop here. I always get chicken wings with fries but everything here is so good.

Good food at good prices but the costumer service & rudeness is completely absurd. Working in the restaurant business myself I know first hand how some costumer’s can be “annoying” but it’s definitely not an excuse, at the end of the day you’re offering a service, a services that keeps your business going. Imagine coming from a loooong day of work doing the same thing this people are doing, why would you take your business where you have to sit waiting for your food watching how employees are just making faces & being rude, no thank you. Y’all lost a local costumer.

Checking in and out is a drag. Lady is always not happy. She was rude on three different occasions. This was my favorite spot. I cant eat from people not happy to see a repeat costumer with those prices. The food is the best in the area though I feel.(8 out of 10 stars) But they are missing the most important ingredient LOVE.The rudeness is subtle but ruins the taste and trust for me.For me its important to feel you are in good standing with people making your grub?Maybe I am just a little to sensitive?Food tastes Good though. And Yes I would eat here if I was only buying food and not attitude.I guess all money isn't good money.
