Food was Good. Decent specials durin Phils. Good Happy Hour. Alot of TV's on the Patio. I would spend alot of time there if we lived close enough to be rewards members.
First time at the restaurant. The only negative I can say was we had made reservations for the restaurant side not the patio (however upon arrival after seeing the patio was regretting that decision), walked in to the first side and there was no one there it looked dead and we are just standing there as employees walked by. Then my guest noticed a side that said everyone will be served on the patio tonight. (I was happy with the situation, but the side would have been better placed outside the door so people didn't even walk into the restaurant side door and went straight to the patio door. However, the rest of the evening was great. The views from the patio are amazing, the drinks were delicious, and the food a good quality for the price. Even with the tvs, the other guests and outside noise it was not loud, you could still have a conversation without having to talk loudly. Servers were pleasant. This place will definitely become a regular date night location.
We had a great first experience. We had their meatballs, dry rub wings, burger, white pizza and braised short rib. They were all delicious. I loved their Lavender Lemon Drop. We love the patio area. We will be back.
First time in, very enjoyable. Food good, service (Corrine), excellent! Will be returning.
It didn't start out well when we arrived because the hostesses don't pay attention to the reservations. We had a reservation for a table on the patio and we arrived on time for our reservation. The hostess asked the people who were in front of us at the hostess stand if they had a reservation and he said ‘no' and she immediately sat them on the patio. Then when it was our turn at the hostess stand we said we had a reservation and she said there were no tables left on the patio so we would have to eat inside.. Why did she give our table to people who didn't have a reservation when we did have a reservation? When we expressed that we were not happy about her seating people without a reservation but not seating people with a reservation and said we were going to leave she then said to wait a minute and then miraculously there was a table for us on the patio. The food was okay, but it was the first time I ever got a nachos platter as an appetizer that had no cheese on it at all, that seems strange to not put cheese on nachos.
They always seem understaffed. Apps and dinners came out at same time-lukewarm. Crazy loud bunch of obnoxious men next to us. Should have asked to move.
I've been here several times and it's always good. We sat on the outside patio, which is always fun and comfortable. Lots of sports to watch. Get a bit noisy but not too bad. Pretzel bite appetizer was really good. Had a white pizza with sausage that was good fish and chips, and the chicken cheesesteak were also enjoyed by our party Overall great experience. Highly recommend for a fun night out.
Food was good; service was not. 5 entrees ordered - 3 delivered at once, 4-5 min later the 4th arrived; 5th meal did not arrive for a full 15 minutes later! I started my meal when 2 others were completely finished. Was patient throughout the experience & was offered zero compensation, and got a flat no when I asked so I took my discount out of my tip. I mean seriously... comp a beverage, the surcharge for fries, half off the entree... anything would have been in order & appreciated.
Everything was excellent and the waiter was pretty cool!

Come here fairly often, and the servers and bartenders are all great. The food is consistent, and good....though the menu could use some rotating / mixing up.
Also came here recently for a Maker's Mark dinner pairing that was absolutely TOP notch. Taphouse absolutely needs to do more of these events soon!

By chance, my friend and I had a late lunch today at Taphouse 23. I only chose this place because I am not familiar with the area however, I only knew I wanted soup. I selected the Chef's Daily Choice which happened to be Potato Soup. Much to my delight, it was the best I've had in my humble 54 years of life! I inquired with our server about ingredients and a recipe, but his response was vague. I also ordered the vegetable panini which was yet again, outstanding. The atmosphere and general aesthetics of this restaurant were perfect. We proceeded to leave and ran into Mario, who introduced himself to us as the chef. He realized then after my wow's about the soup and actually shared some secrets with me! The only negative thing I could conjure up would be that the music was a bit heavy and much too loud to hold a nice conversation with my friend leaving me feeling a bit anxious, but not enough to decrease my 5 star rating! Highly recommend!
