This was one our favorite breweries and we were mug club members, but they couldn't keep leatherheads on tap. This was our favorite beer but very few times to get it in between brewings. Not big sour, fruity beers, high ALC content IPAs
We came in for the concert this weekend and decided to try out Recon. We got there right after they open. The server/bartender was awesome. It was nice talking to someone who knew the area we were from. We had the buffalo wrap and buffalo mac and cheese. My bf also had a flight. The food was good, beer to him was great and the service was awesome, the food was also delicious. Highly recommended. Even the locals were super friendly and made u feel welcomed.
Very clean and friendly atmosphere. The food was good and the price was very reasonable. The bartender was super nice and suggested plenty of places to visit during our visit to Pittsburgh. We highly recommend this place and we plan to return during future trips!
Delicious beer. Fantastic staff. Trivia night is great fun
This is the first time trying Recon. I saw they did fish during lent so we gave it a try tonight. It was delicious!! The breading was very tasty and we were very happy with everything (and the lady who took our order over the phone was super friendly and nice!). Will be ordering again as I see they have more than just fish there!!

Nice little place nestled within a Condo' community. Decent beers and tasty food options. It was perfect for a quiet SundayFunday outing.
Had a nice time here, nice flight of beers. Bartender was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Enjoyed the nachos ( was a very large portion), but the chips were too thin. The sauteed buffalo cauliflower was excellent.
Food, beer and service are always great. Nice, low-key atmosphere
2 IPAs, Nashville hot sandwich, garlic parm fries and wings. IPAs were enjoyable, Nashville hot could have used some extra heat ( gotta go to Nashville to know), fries and wings were good. Great service , everybody was so friendly. Nice relaxing environment, I’d go back .

Very accommodating, great service.
I got a Groupon for here to try it out! It’s in a housing complex within Hastings (so residential) but everything is BRAND NEW - super pretty outside. Tons of outdoor & indoor seating and parking. They have live music on Thursday’s.We tried the gose Lime beer they had on tap and it was a really good sour (of of the better beers I’ve had ).Loved the food! We split between 2 of us the loaded nachos (tons of meat and fresh toppings), also we split a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich (fresh, spicy, huge to split). We can’t wait to come back to try some other menu items! Hidden gem!
Great Beers, Great Location, Awesome staff, hidden gem! A must!!!
Love the BRC, balanced IPA. Fried chicken sandwiches (Po Boy/Nashville) were fantastic.
