Good food. Unique menu. Recommend the Italian bowl which had 4 huge meatballs topped with sauce and mozzarella, Provolone, and basil. Delicious. Also recommnd the polish bowl. Pierogies in saurkraut and kielbasa. Wonderful. Cocktails were good too. Not watered down.

Great friendly staff and service, this is a cute little local pub where you can dine in several rooms or sit at the bar. They were busy but the food was a bit hit or miss.

Everything seemed like they forced fancy nonsense into it just because they could and didn’t add to the dish. Waitress was great, unfortunately we were sat in their regular dining area and for some reason they stuck a sloppy, aggressive, and drunk man in there to get him away from the bar. It all sucked

My husband and I were so pleased! Where do I start? They did such an amazing job catering for 60 people. From the fun venue to the fabulous food and most importantly, Clair and her attentiveness to our party needs and her super sweet spirit! She also received many compliments on her mixology knowledge! Thank you for making it a fantastic 40th birthday for our daughter ❤️
You’re the BEST!!

So glad we found this gem. Make the drive and try it out. Very consistent good food.

It's our new favorite restaurant. Lot's of different options. Even the hot dogs are next level.

Oh and try the red pepper soup!

After talking to the rest of my party I discovered, the wait staff was upset that we sat at the table we did and intentionally didn't serve us or even bother to clean up our table even though we had been sitting there for almost an hour. The bar tender said to grab the table that was opening up but the server said we needed to check with the hostess. The server explained this to my buddy's wife very rudely. Apparently the bar tender had been talking to another group that walked in even though we were there first. We came specifically to hear the band and had we not have grabbed a table there wouldn't have been any others making our visit pointless as there was literally nowhere else to sit or stand and set down your drink. If you're going to have limited tables then sell tickets or take reservations.

What kind of business are you running where your staff actively doesn't attempt to get money from your customer? We spent $40(food and drink) here, with tip. I was planning on spending $200 - $300. Why? Because we literally couldn't order anything or be served. The bar tender in the back came out several times and didn't even acknowledge me. I stood waiting for a drink for 15 minutes before I gave up. After finally getting a server, attempting multiple times to flag one down, she asked if I wanted a drink, noticing that I didn't have one, but at that point I was done. My girlfriend had ordered some chicken tenders while I was trying to get a drink at the bar. I told the server to just bring me the check for the chicken tenders and I would settle my own bar tab. My buddy's wife was so upset by how the server acted, she left and waited outside. Had we not already ordered food we would have left immediately but I'm not the kind of person who's going to order and not pay for it.

Customer service is basically non existent here unless you know someone apparently. The whole place is totally disorganized. Kitchen staff had to carry bags of trash through the bar, across the front of the stage, and out the back gate dropping and almost ripping the bag open.

My friends mentioned that the last time they tried this place the experience was similar. We won't ever be coming back.

It's a shame because the band was pretty good.

When we got there it was pretty crowded and I overheard a bartender saying to someone that “if a table opens, grab it”
So we assumed we could just grab a table as they opened, but I then realized that the bartender was just talking to a regular and that didn’t apply to other people who aren’t friend with the owner.
The waitress snapped at us when we asked for menus and said that we had to be seated by the hostess in order to get food…what hostess? There was no sign or anyone by the door indicating that there was one.
And, why have an outside bar with no outside bartender? We eventually gave up on drinks and ate what we did order and left.

We will be back when this business fails and it turns into something else

The food was good, the inside and outside are decent. They need more servers, it was difficult to get served at the tables outside and keep it going.

Couldn't even get anyone to wait on me. I sat on the front bench while the employees just looked at me and never offered any services at all. Will not ever go back

We held our 20-year high school reunion in the upstairs party room at the Grumpy Beaver in Bridgewater.

We worked with Claire during the planning process - she was excellent. We had tons of questions etc. throughout the course of planning the event and she was quick to respond and so incredibly kind and helpful.

The upstairs "Speakeasy" is so cute and unique, and the drinks and service were top notch. We did heavy appetizers for the event and they were delicious and priced well.

Highly recommend this venue for your upcoming events!
