As always - quickly lead to our table that was reserved- great waitress, service and delicious food Would highly recommend when in the area and make reservations- some people without reservations we're waiting over one hour for a table.

Group of four and we all enjoyed our apps and entrees. Our waitress was very pleasant and came back often to check on us. Matter of fact all of the staff were friendly with smiles on their faces. Very nice, comfortable atmosphere. Highly recommended.

My boyfriend and I dined here for his birthday dinner and it was amazing! Our server, Zachary, was very pleasant and attentive. We shared a sourdough bread appetizer, and I had the pear and brie melt, which I LOVED. My boyfriend had their burger special which he said was amazing, and we both got deserts to take home. A little pricy, but most nicer dining experiences are. This was our first visit and we will definitely be back!!

Party of 4 and we all enjoyed our meals! If you like pork chops, you will love theirs! Thick, tender and very tasteful. Served with great green beans and mashed potatoes. A lot of food and you will be taking some home. That's if you're a small eater. Well worth the price. Prime Rib was awesome cooked to perfection, short ribs and chicken parm were very good as well. Everyone was full and satisfied. Great house salad too!

We were made to feel welcome from the time we stepped up to the reservation desk. Our server, Jake, provided friendly, efficient and knowledgeable service which combined with a river front table, resulted in a very pleasant dining experience. Our tavern burger and Ahi tuna burger were very good, the homemade chips and our cheesecake desserts excellent. The soup special of the day, pumpkin with creme fraiche, was absolutely wonderful. We would return for the soup alone!

The entire staff was so pleasant especially our server Erica and another server we talked with Drew. Even the 2 boys delivering the food were so nice! And having a table that looks out over the water, the view is amazing! We love coming here and it was the 1st time bringing our kids who loved the food. Such a historic site yet the very old inn/restaurant has been renovated to make for a comfortable dining experience. Our server, Evan, was outstanding. Friendly, enthusiastic, and glad to answer our questions. The food was very good, with large portions at a reasonable price. I enjoyed the salmon in a mustard sauce with rice and asparagus. We started with the sourdough boule (round bread) stuffed with garlic butter and cheese. And also shared a brie and pear grilled sandwich on multigrain bread. All 3 dishes were a treat. The Delaware River view was part of the ambiance. We were seated on the second floor, which gives an especially nice outlook.

I frequent here, took my mom out to dinner using a reservation through open table. It was for her birthday. I listed that in the reservation. Unfortunately that wasn't shared with our waitress. I'm just a little disappointed that it wasn't communicated to her. She was wonderful and the service was fine besides that. I was just under the impression that I wouldn't have to share that we were celebrating her birthday again.

The King George Inn never fails. We have been there many times for family birthdays, holidays and just nice lunches. While the food and service have always been top notch, one of the owners always makes it a point to visit each table and chat with the guests. You can tell they truly care about each guest and want to ensure they have a good experience. I highly recommend the King George Inn and I am grateful they have weathered all the many storms over the years. They are one of my favorite go-to nice restaurants.

Very nice outdoor patio overlooking the river. Great service. However. I have shellfish allergy and everything that uses a fryer also fries seafood. I was very disappointed that I could not have most items on the menu. Thank goodness our server checked for us.

Took the boat over here today for lunch. Had absolutely amazing service with a smile. By far the best French Dip I've ever tasted. The fries were also yummy. My love had the chicken salad samdwhich at the recommendation from our awesome server Drew. We will most definitely be back again.
