Felt a little rushed this time around. Our entrees were brought out before we could finish our appetizers. The butternut squash ravioli was just ok, and slightly undercooked. The fish and chips were just ok - not bad, just nothing to write home about.
It was better than excellent lunch was superb! We had the appetizer shrimp wrapped in bacon, perfect! My friend had the French Dip w/crispy fries. He liked it so much the plate looked clean when done. I had a thick juicy flavorful pork chop over mashed potatoes with fresh baby spring beans. My plate also went back, looking clean. Wish I could give this place more than five stars!
Lots of history here and any time my family is in town we grab a bite and drink here. Great views of the river, and if you’re into history it’s great to see every owner listed listed since its beginnings.
